From Minion Land to DreamWorks Land and New York to Hollywood, Universal Studios Florida is where movie buffs of all ages can take a starring role in their favorite films. Due to safety precautions, aspiring movie stars must meet certain height requirements to ride select attractions. Knowing these guidelines before entering through those iconic arches is the best way to minimize in-park temper tantrums and temper exceptions for tadpoles. If you're planning to visit the original Universal Orlando Resort theme park any time in the near (or far) future, here's everything you need to know about Universal Studios Florida height requirements.

Overview of Universal Studios Florida Height Requirements
With rip-roaring roller coasters, high-intensity simulators, classic dark rides and fan-favorite long-running stage shows, the award-worthy attractions at Universal Studios Florida plunge you right into the action of beloved movies. However, your child needs to be at least 40 inches or taller to ride the majority of attractions. There's a sign at the park entrance (before security) you can use to measure your tadpole for each ride, but be aware that a Universal team member may want to verify their height at the attraction if it appears close.
Additionally, any child who meets the minimum height requirement of an attraction but doesn't meet the 48-inch, ride-alone height requirement must be accompanied by a Supervising Companion — someone who is 14 years of age or older and meets all other attraction ridership requirements. Children under 48 inches must be able to sit upright unassisted on all rides.
