Grab an E-Liminator X, step onto the moving walkway and start blasting. Cause as much mayhem as possible and you might just become the world's next great supervillain!

Frog Family Tips and Fun Facts about Illumination's Villain-Con Minion Blast

Frog Family Tips

  • Be sure to watch the monitor when you enter the convention show floor. That video will tell you everything you need to know about operating your E-Liminator X. 
  • If you step off from your assigned spot, your blaster will display a warning message and temporarily stop functioning.
  • It may be hard to locate your blaster on the screen. The color of the dome on your blaster matches the on-screen indicator that shows exactly where you're aiming.
  • You'll need two hands to operate your E-Liminator X. The trigger in the back fires an unlimited amount of Ice Blasts, Force Waves and Fireballs and the trigger in the front fires a limited amount of Freeze Rays, Banana Bombs, Metal Punching Gloves and more.
  • Aim for medallions, assorted boxes and flying characters and keep firing to rack up points.
  • Sync your blaster to the Universal Orlando Resort™ app. You'll be able to keep track of your scores, embark on special missions within the attraction, unlock perks and power-ups to help gain more points and earn digital collectibles.

Fun Facts

  • Taraji P. Henson, Lucy Lawless, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren and Danny Trejo returned to voice their characters from "Minions: The Rise of Gru".
  • After causing a certain amount of damage and racking up enough points, a special powerup will be awarded to you for one-time use.
  • The final scene of the attraction includes landmark imagery from Universal Orlando Resort™.
  • Each E-Liminator X has a unique color and icon to help distinguish your reticle from other competitors.
  • The blasters are a little weighty, so tadpoles may struggle to hold theirs for the duration of the attraction.
  • Using the app, you'll be able to customize your ammo depending on the time of year. For example, in November, you may be able to switch from a "Banana Bomb" to a "Turkey Leg Bomb"!
