Universal Studios has been adding more and more meatless and plant-based options to its restaurant menus. We’ll help you find the tastiest vegan and vegetarian food at Universal Studios Hollywood. We’ll also let you know how to find these menu items and which modifications or requests you may need to make to ensure you are meeting your dietary needs. Note that specific offerings may change as some menus do change seasonally.
The Best Vegan and Vegetarian Food at Universal Studios Hollywood
Admittedly, there are more options listed as vegetarian than vegan. We will do our best to spell them out for you. You can follow this link to the Universal Studios Dietary Food Guide. It lists gluten-free vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free options in the park, but it may not be fully up to date as menus can change over time. You can also find all the restaurant menus with prices on the Universal Studios Hollywood app. Even if you do not see a vegan or vegetarian item, when you order you can often modify dishes to cut out or substitute for ingredients that don’t work for you. A few items are available in more than one location.

You can also modify the burger to get a vegetarian patty. If you are a Super Mario Fan, you’ll love the theming. See more pics of the restaurant and toadally cute vegetarian desserts, plus learn how to get a same-day reservation, in our Super Nintendo World food post. (Reservations can fill up quickly.)

Mobile Order
As more restaurants add mobile order, you might be tempted to use that service. We have not seen as many options for vegan and vegetarian food at Universal Studios available on mobile order as we do when ordering in person. So if you don't see something that works for you when mobile ordering, you may want to order in person. Ordering in person is the best way to ask questions about ingredients.
