Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have brought new immersive "Wicked" experiences, exclusive merchandise and more to the parks in celebration of the upcoming "Wicked" film, releasing in theaters Nov. 22, 2024. As fans of both the Broadway musical and Universal Parks, we "couldn't be hoppier" about this crossover that doesn't usually hoppen! The exact lineup of experiences differs on each coast, so let's leap into the details.

Wicked Experiences at Universal Orlando Resort
Step into the Land of Oz! Wicked: The Experience has taken over the former location of the UNIVRS store near the front of Universal Studios Florida. Here, guests can walk down the yellow brick road and fully immerse themselves in a variety of iconic locations, from Shiz University to the Emerald City, perfect for photo-ops. Costumes and props from the "Wicked" film are also be on display.
Take a peek inside Glinda and Elphaba's dorm room...pose in Glinda's bubble or with Elphaba's broom...step behind the curtain and make some magic with the Wizard's control panel... As you enter each magnificently crafted room, you're quite literally walking in the footsteps of the famed Witches of Oz.
Of course, we can't froget to mention the "darlingest" costume recreations, such as Glinda's Pink Bubble Dress, Elphaba's "Defying Gravity" Dress, Fiyero's Ozdust Suit and Nessarose's Ozdust Dress and Jeweled Shoes, and prop recreations such as the Green Elixir Bottle, Glinda's Bubble Wand and Tiara and even The Grimmerie!
Whether you're in the mood for t-shirts, notebooks, necklaces, chocolates, candles or Funko Pops!, there's no shortage of "swankified" merch available for purchase.
If Elphaba has taught us anything, it's that the "future is unlimited," so we "couldn't be happier" to share that — because "Wicked" is a two-film event, with "Wicked Part Two" set to debut in November 2025 — Wicked: The Experience will remain open through the next film (and potentially beyond) with new offerings and products dropping along the way!
Just outside Wicked: The Experience, Universal has conjured up a brand new food booth, Emerald City Eats, with selections that are sure to silence stomachs roaring even louder than the Cowardly Lion. We tried the deliciously savory Breakfiz Croissant (Black Forest ham with cheddar cheese and a poppy seed croissant), the mouthwateringly sweet Strawberriful Waffle (pearled sugar waffle with strawberry whipped topping, strawberry cream crumbs and sparkle dust) and the delightfully refreshing Ozdust Punch Cocktail (blue curaçao syrup, lime and pineapple juice topped with Fresca).
Also on the menu are the Ozvocado Toast (artisan style black bread with smashed avocado, sweet drop peppers, pickled onions, feta cheese), the Pink Goes Well With Green Scroll (matcha cake with vanilla whipped ganache), the Ozdust Punch Cocktail (Olmeca Altos, Plata Tequila, Bols, blue curaçao, lime and pineapple juice topped with Fresca), The Sparkling Emerald (sparkling green limoncello spritz) and the Shimmering Spritz (sparkling pink blueberry spritz).
Last but certainly not least, be sure to pop by Studio Sweets for tasty treats such as the Pretzel Wand, the Wicked Apple, the Witch Hat Cone, the Wicked Cupcake, the Wicked S'more and more!
Wicked Experiences at Universal Studios Hollywood
Over in CityWalk, Oz has taken over the UNIVRS store! Outside, you'll see a colorful wrapping of moments from the film with Glinda and Elphaba both "defying gravity" above. Inside, you'll find all-new merch for purchase.
Everything from clothing to candles, toys and treats can be purchased within, beautifully divided between pink and green. But remember, "black is this year's pink!"
Universal Studios Hollywood has completely transformed its Feature Presentation store within the theme park into a similar "Wicked" experience. Feature Presentation showcases replica props from the film as well as an Emerald City-adorned back wall and clips from the production of the movie. Small touches from Elphaba and Glinda appear around the store, and you might also see some Ozian easter eggs within the displays!
Both stores carry the same merchandise, which means you do not need to purchase a ticket to get your hands on what you are looking for from the collections. However, the store inside the parks is much bigger and more immersive. In either store you peruse, you just might find something really "uh- sharp!"
Later, close to the film opening, costumes will be on display within the Universal Cinema, an AMC Theatre, at CityWalk.
Over at Hollywood And Dine inside the park, you'll find an assortment of "Wicked"-themed foods and drinks.
We tried the Ozdust Punch (nonalcoholic), the Ozmopolitan, the Apple Pie Funnelest Cake, the Bewitching Bacon Burger and the Roastified Corn Flatbread. The burger (bacon, provolone cheese, black garlic aioli, lettuce, pickles and a brioche bun) and the Ozdust Punch (pineapple and lime juice, blue curaçao and grapefruit soda) were our favorites!
A chicken wrap, a salad, a corn dog and another alcoholic concoction are also available. Each food is decorated with a bit of Oz.
Wicked Dining and Merchandise
At both resorts, you can expect to find new merchandise and limited-time treats! Fantabulous menu items have arrived at Voodoo Doughnut and The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen within CityWalk in Orlando and Hollywood.
Several "Wicked" merchandise collections will include apparel, home goods, accessories, toys and more in retail locations at Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood and both Universal CityWalk districts.
- The Shiz University collection is inspired by the school where Glinda and Elphaba first meet, and will feature back-to-school must-haves, including a spirit jersey, duffle bag, tumbler, hat and more.
- The legendary Studio MinaLima has created "Wicked"-inspired graphics and prints for a collection that includes apparel, accessories, home goods and stationery.
- You wouldn't be able to miss the "Wicked" logo on items such as hats, notebooks, mugs and more. Plus, you'll find merchandise from collaborations, including Mattel fashion dolls, Funko Pops!, LEGO sets, Loungefly bags and cosplay and prop replicas from The Noble Collection.
All of the merchandise is so unique and well done, it might be hard to pick! But one thing we know for sure is pink definitely goes well with green.
