Remember September 11, 2001 at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, located at the World Trade Center site. Inside the museum, you’ll see displays of artifacts associated with 9/11 and the stories of the events. The 9/11 Memorial, free and open to the public, remembers and honors the lives lost from the attacks, as well as those who survived. The 9/11 Memorial consists of a plaza lined with trees and two recessed pools that are the footprints of the Twin Towers.
