What we love
- One of the coziest, most secluded-feeling properties on-site
- Wilderness theme is a big hit with the tadpoles
- Boat transportation to Magic Kingdom® Park
- Deluxe studios, and 1 and 2-bedroom suites
- One of the only properties to offer studios that sleep 5
- Surrey biking and carriage rides through the wooded nature paths
- Boulder Ridge Cove Pool is quieter is nestled among the pines; main feature pool is just a hop, skip and jump away
- Pony rides and archery are just a boat ride away at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
- Nearby Lodge is home to one of the most romantic restaurants on property at Artist Point
- Free parking!
Keep in Mind
- The hotel charges $33 per night (sales tax included) for valet parking
- One of the only deluxe resorts not on the monorail to Magic Kingdom® Park
- Sometimes shares bus service with Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, so wait times to the parks can be a little bit longer
Notable Facts
- Like Disney's Wilderness Lodge, the Villas were inspired by the national parks of the Pacific Northwest
- The Carolwood Room on the first floor of the Boulder Ridge Villas lobby is named after Walt Disney’s outdoor model railroad, the Carolwood Pacific, and includes a mini-museum
Frog Family Tips
- Request an odd-numbered room on an upper floor for the best views of the woods
- Stop by the Lodge's front desk and ask for a Hidden Mickeys Hunt that offers clues to find all of the Hidden Mickeys at the resort
- Wind down in the evenings in the main villas gathering area; there are board games for the kids, and it's a great spot to cozy up with a book
- Order family-style at Whispering Canyon Cafe for the best value and all-you-can-eat offerings
Best For
- Nature-loving families, especially larger families with longer stays, who are looking for kitchenettes or full kitchens, in-room washers and dryers, and deluxe-level amenities
