What we love
- One of the best locations at the Walt Disney World® Resort, with just a short boat ride to Epcot® or walking distance to Epcot® and Disney's Hollywood Studios®
- Centrally located, so easy to get to all of the Walt Disney World® Resort parks
- Prime access to Disney's Boardwalk Entertainment District and its fantastic dining
- More relaxed swimming pool area than nearby Stormalong Bay
- Most standard rooms overlook the gardens or courtyard
- One of the loveliest lobbies, with hardwood floors, chandeliers, and models of a roller coaster and carousel
- Renting bikes and riding around the Boardwalk (families can all ride together on one surrey bike)
- Free parking!
Keep in Mind
- Hotel charges $33 per night (sales tax included) for valet parking
- Theming can be lost on children
- Smallest resort at the Walt Disney World® Resort with 380 rooms and a convention center attached
- Standard rooms are smaller than some of the Monorail Deluxe Resort Hotels, although most standard rooms sleep 5
- Intricate hallways can be confusing
- No quick-service dining option, although you will find restaurants at the Boardwalk and Epcot®
- Feature pool actually sits behind Disney's BoardWalk Villas rather than the Inn proper
Notable Facts
- One of the favorite restaurants on property, Flying Fish Cafe, is down on Disney's BoardWalk Entertainment District
- Trattoria al Forno is the newest restaurant to open along the BoardWalk
- The drapes in the rooms feature postcards made from real postcards
Frog Family Tips
- Some rooms offer day beds; request one if you would like it (not all requests are guaranteed)
- Stop by the BoardWalk Bakery for breakfast on your way to the parks for the cinammon roll
- Request a room near the lobby for less walking (not all requests are guaranteed)
- Book a water-view room for views of the Boardwalk and Crescent Lake, but keep in mind these may be noisier
- Hop over to the International Gateway at EPCOT, just a short stroll away, to ride the Disney Skyliner and get a bird's-eye view of the park
Best For
- Those who want deluxe amenities and to be walking distance from Epcot® but away from the hustle and bustle of Disney's Beach Club Resort and its pool, Stormalong Bay
