Kings Dominion
Frog Family Rating:
With over 60 rides across 400 acres, Kings Dominion has been a Virginia staple for years offering fun all day long for frogs of all ages. Families will especially love Planet Snoopy, the 14-acre children’s area dedicated to the PEANUTS gang. If your family has thrill-seekers then look no further than Twisted Timbers, a new hybrid coaster that will send you plummeting down a 109-foot barrel roll drop into two more inversions. After a day of coasters, cool down at Soak City, the included 20-acre water park with a wave pool, slides, a splash pad and more!
About an hour and a half outside of Washington, D.C. near Richmond, Virginia, Kings Dominion has provided frogtastic family fun for decades. The theme park recently announced it will be open year-round on weekends, with daily operations from around Memorial Day through Labor Day. Soak City will continue to operate seasonally.
