Have you ever dreamed of visiting the kingdom of Arendelle alongside Elsa and Anna? Our froggy hands are raised, especially Lily's! She's a huge "Frozen" fan so being able to dine at Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure aboard the Disney Wish was literally her dream come true. She talks about it all the time! This immersive Rotational Dining restaurant is one of three on the Disney Wish and includes "Frozen" theming, character interactions and a Scandinavian-inspired menu — all included in your cruise fare! Hop into our detailed review, where we’ll cover everything you need to know about Arendelle: A Frozen Dinner Adventure on the Disney Wish. We can't hold it back anymore!

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure Overview
Located on deck five (aft), Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure is exclusive to the Disney Wish. The storyline takes place after "Frozen II" where you are invited to celebrate the engagement of Anna and Kristoff. Elsa and Olaf are the hosts of this royal engagement party and have hired none other than Oaken's "Hearty Party Planning Service ... and Sauna." Yoo hoo, big summer blowout!
As soon as you step inside, you'll feel like you've entered the Arendelle Castle. You'll spot portraits, intricate details and fun nods to the "Frozen" films as you walk down the main hall. Be sure to take in all the details. Even a suit of armor holds up a sign congratulating the couple on their engagement. I don't know about you, but we can't get enough of these kinds of details.
The dining room is arranged around a central stage and features classic table settings, white tablecloths and elegant details. The "Frozen" theme is woven into every corner, from the wallpaper and painted ceilings to the intricate light fixtures. Look closely at the plates — you’ll spot Anna and Elsa’s silhouettes in the design!
Dinner is a four-course meal featuring Scandinavian dishes. While you enjoy your meal, the entertainment takes center stage. Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and even Oaken make appearances, along with "local" performers who sing favorite songs from the "Frozen" films.
Entertainment & Character Interactions
The cold never bothered us anyway — and a good thing, because you might notice the weather outside the restaurant's windows "changing" thanks to Elsa's magical powers!
From start to finish, you will be entertained throughout your entire meal. Anna and Kristoff even make their way around the tables. They chat with visitors and thank them for coming to their party! Oaken takes to the stage and introduces the "local" Nordic musicians, and as the meal courses continue, you'll experience several musical performances by Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf! Of course, there's even a sing-a-long of "Let it Go!" One of our favorite moments was when all the characters sang "Some Things Never Change" from "Frozen II."
Throughout the meal, some of the characters will mingle with guests to say hello and pose for quick photo-ops. Elsa made a little stop at our table and Olaf was a huge hit with our kiddos! He sits on top of a special stand and the performers wheel him up on stage and around the restaurant. Even our tween Tad was smiling ear to ear when Olaf made his way past our table.
The meal ends with the characters leading a march throughout the restaurant to the tune of "Into the Unknown." Be sure to grab your napkin (to swing over your head, of course), get up out of your chair and join in on the fun.

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure Menu
The meal begins with appetizers and a choice of soup or salad, followed by a selection of mains and a decadent dessert to finish. The dishes are beautifully presented, but the bold flavors and thoughtful touches make each plate stand out. And for the adventurous tadpoles, there’s plenty of opportunity to try something exciting and out of the norm.
While Disney Cruise Line does an excellent job at rotating their menu items, here’s a closer look at the food offerings:
Appetizers
- Anna's Koldtbord: A sampling of Nordic delights, including "hot" smoked salmon, smoked fjord trout, horseradish lefse and dill honey mustard, served with crisp knäckebröd
- Blushing Oaken's Chilled White and Green Asparagus: Fresh asparagus with pea tendrils, heirloom tomatoes, radish and dill
- Elsa's Royal Baked Scallops: Tender scallops with shrimp tarragon bisque, rainbow carrots, leeks and flaky pastry
- Jarlsberg Cheese & Rosemary Ham Tart: Savory and sweet, served with Gala apple and Williams pear compote
Our favorite was Anna’s Koldbord as it was a fantastic way to try a few different things with a Nordic twist. We also tried the cheese and ham tart pictured above — savory and delicious!
Salads and Soups
- Nordic Cucumber, Potato & Carrot Salad: Baby oakleaf and Lolla Rossa lettuce with traditional Scandinavian flavors
- Troll Valley Baby Field Greens: Vanilla, apricots, brioche croutons, candied walnuts and lingonberry dressing
- Sven's Favorite Carrot Soup: A creamy, caraway-infused carrot soup with rye sippits
- Split Yellow Pea Soup: A hearty blend with pulled ham hock and a delicate pannekaken garnish
Between the four of us, we tried them all. The top two were the Nordic Cucumber, Potato & Carrot Salad and the Split Yellow Pea Soup (pictured above).
Entrees
Don't froget that you don't have to just pick one. Can't settle on a choice? Order both!
- King Agnarr’s Dry-Rubbed Roasted Pork Tenderloin: Accompanied by buttered chard, honey butternut squash, Yukon Gold potato purée, crisp shallots and a red currant port wine reduction
- Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass: Served with white asparagus, petite leeks, spinach, Romanesco, peas, kohlrabi, rainbow carrots, seared scallop and mjød vinaigrette
- Arendelle Kjøttkake: A plate of traditional braised meatballs with rosemary cream reduction, egg noodles and lingonberry chutney
- Juniper-Spiced Roasted Chicken Breast: Complemented by duck confit double-fried potatoes, scallions and estragon wild mushroom ragout
- Garlic & Thyme Roasted Beef Rib-Eye: Served with double-baked potato, buttered broccoli, honey-roasted carrots and cabernet jus
- Queen Iduna’s Potato Lefse: Featuring marjoram butter crust, heirloom carrots, spinach, celeriac, asparagus, baby Brussels sprouts, leeks and aquavit Jarlsberg cream
- Kåldolmar: Plant-based "beef" wrapped in savoy cabbage with brown rice, carrots, celery and a dill yogurt drizzle
The Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass completely melted in my mouth — talk about drool-worthy! Leap raved about the roasted chicken breast and double-fried potatoes.
Desserts
No meal at Arendelle would be complete without dessert and Disney does not disappoint. The sweet offerings change seasonally, but guests can expect delicious treats such as:
- Eplekake (Apple Cake): A traditional cake with caramel sauce, vanilla bean ice cream and Florentine almond crunch
- Norwegian Pancake Roulade: Rolled with lingonberry jam and Gjovik white chocolate cheesecake
- Kvæfjordkake: A buttery cake topped with almond meringue, vanilla cream and berry compote
- Troll Family’s Rock Chocolate Bar: A whimsical dessert of chocolate cake, pistachio cookie rocks and elderflower meringue
The Eplekake was the perfect blend of cool and sweet! I thought it was the perfect (and on theme) ending to our meal.
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure Kids Menu
