What Is the Atlantic Restaurant in Universal Epic Universe?
As mentioned above, Atlantic is one of two signature table-service restaurants in Celestial Park. Find it next to Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets.
Serving a bountiful surf-and-turf menu fit for royalty, this undersea-inspired restaurant makes you feel like you're actually in an aquarium! With towering glass walls and a picturesque view of the Neptune Pool, you can enjoy cold bar classics, a robust drink menu and seafood mainstays with a celestial twist (sea bass with star fruit, anyone?).
Underwater-themed statues, bubbles cascading from the ceiling, and moving fish-shaped lanterns add to the aquatic atmosphere. The big blue panels over the bar look like waves!
Not looking for a sit-down meal? Go ahead and grab a drink at the lively Aquaria Bar instead and just enjoy the ambiance.
Like the other restaurants and quick-service locations in Celestial Park, Atlantic operates during regular park hours, which you can find on the Universal Orlando app or website.

Do You Need to Make a Reservation to Dine at the Atlantic Restaurant in Epic Universe?
Generally speaking, yes, you will need to make a reservation ahead of time to dine at Atlantic in Epic Universe. As mentioned above, Atlantic is a full-service, table-service dining location — and only one of two inside Celestial Park. Couple this with the fact that it's a brand-new restaurant, and spots can fill up quickly.
Fortunately, Universal Orlando offers visiting guests a pretty big reservation window, beginning six months before the start of the trip. Most of the restaurants at Universal Orlando offer walk-up availability, so there's no harm in asking if a table is ready. Be sure to check out our guide to dining reservations at Universal Orlando before your trip.
Final Thoughts About Atlantic
If you can pick your jaw up off the floor after noticing the fish-shaped lanterns literally swimming above you, the food at Atlantic is simply to die for. We started by ordering a handful of appetizers which hit all the right seafood notes — from the Sweet & Spicy Shrimp to the Prince Edward Island Mussels. We then branched out for our entrées, ranging from classic seafaring cuisine, such as the Seared Scallops and famous Captain Fernando's Half-Pound Lobster Roll to slightly more adventurous offerings, such as the Romesco Romanesco (which is quite the sight to see)!
The real stars of the show were the desserts. The Piña Colada Panna Cotta had me imagining I was on a tropical island somewhere, and the adorably fun Landlubber's Snickerdoodle Loot is something I would highly recommend to any crumb cake-lover. (Already daydreaming about when I can go back for that.)
Of course, we can't froget to mention the drinks. On the tartier side, the Florida Sand Dollar was incredibly refreshing and, on the fancier side, the Northern Lights had me feeling like Atlantic royalty with its butterfly pea blossom ice sphere and gold luster dust.
The perfect place to sit back, relax and watch the fountains of Neptune Pool dance the night away, Atlantic is a swanky, subaquatic hot spot that we frogs can't wait to return to!
