Chicago White Sox Team Overview
The Chicago White Sox, founded in 1901, is one of the eight charter members of the American League. The team has won three World Series titles, the most recent in 2005.
The White Sox play home games at Guaranteed Rate Field (formerly known as Comisky Park), which is on the South Side of Chicago. The stadium has great sightlines, so you'll always have a good view of the field. Keep your eye on the sky after a Sox home run. Twenty fireworks will shoot up from the scoreboard in center field. Some games have fireworks shows after them as well. Look for legendary player statues on either side of the Fan Deck in Center Field. Don't miss the World Series championship display outside Gate 4.
