Summary
Did you know you can actually dine inside Cinderella Castle? Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom is a table-service restaurant actually located inside the castle! This popular restaurant often books up months in advance so you'll want to plan ahead to try to snag a coveted "CRT" dining reservation. Even better than the unique location, Cinderella's Royal Table is also a character dining spot, so you can meet Cinderella and other princesses! Here's everything to know about Cinderella's Royal Table, including reservations, characters, menus and more.

Overview of Cinderella's Royal Table
Cinderella's Royal Table is quite the fairytale dining experience at Walt Disney World. In Magic Kingdom, you'll find the entrance on the backside of the castle near Sir Mickey's. After checking in at the outdoor podium, you'll be escorted inside the castle. Enter the elegant grand hall where you're greeted by Cinderella herself! Notice the fun medieval details and nods to the "Cinderella" film (keep an eye out for Jaq and Gus!).
You'll then glide up the spiral staircase to the royal banquet hall. You'll feel like you're in a storybook with stone archways, medieval decor and beautiful stained-glass windows looking out onto Fantasyland. At night, you can even get a unique view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks! Your character dining meal also includes visits with four other Disney princesses.
Note that while Cinderella's Royal Table is considered a signature dining experience, there is no required dress code, so theme park attire is acceptable. Of course, this is a perfect opportunity to wear some royal costumes for the tadpoles or inspired DisneyBounds for the adults.
Getting Cinderella's Royal Table Reservations
Cinderella's Royal Table is extremely popular and one of the hardest reservations to get at Walt Disney World. Advanced dining reservations are strongly recommended and should ideally be done 60 days in advance. Be sure to mark your calendar for 60 days out and set your alarms, as most reservations open at 5:45 a.m. EST. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel have an advantage as they can book 60 days in advance of check-in day for their entire stay, up to 10 days.
This means there may be very limited reservations available if looking 60 days out as a non-hotel guest. Don't be too discouraged! We recommend checking often and continuing to refresh in case something pops up (clicking on various times instead of only checking meal sections can also help). Cancellations can happen, especially the week of, as plans change.
Like many restaurants, there is a day-of walkup list you can join, but most days it is not available for Cinderella's Royal Table. The walkup list does require your GPS location, so you have to already be in Magic Kingdom and fairly close to the castle to even check if the restaurant is accepting walkups. Often by late morning, the app will display a message saying it's not accepting walkups. You can also ask the cast members at the outdoor podium if there are any possible reservations.
Breakfast is $74 per adult and $45 per child, plus tax and gratuity. Lunch and dinner are $88 per adult and $52 per child, plus tax and gratuity. Note that Cinderella's Royal Table requires full payment in advance, so you will be charged when you book (the final number will include tax and gratuity so you won't have to worry about that when dining). There is a two-hour cancellation policy so you must cancel at least two hours in advance to receive a refund.
Characters at Cinderella's Royal Table
While dining in the castle, it makes perfect sense to see some royal guests during your meal! As a character dining location, characters will journey through the restaurant and stop at each table for hugs, autographs and photos. It's a perfect way to see lots of Disney princesses all in one sitting!
When you first enter, you'll meet your royal host, Cinderella, with a beautiful backdrop and a PhotoPass photographer. The normal line-up is Ariel, Snow White, Aurora and Jasmine, though other princesses could make appearances instead. Since the lineup is never guaranteed and could vary from day to day, we recommend cautioning tadpoles on how they may or may not see their favorite princess. We loved talking about becoming mermaids with Ariel or with Jasmine on how Rajah likes to eat too many desserts!

Our Final Thoughts on Cinderella's Royal Table
Cinderella's Royal Table is a magical dining experience and a memory to last a lifetime. Lily loves bringing up the time she ate at the castle! It's a great way to see lots of princesses in such a perfect royal setting.
For some fun souvenirs, royal guests are given either a magic wand or sword to take home with them. To make things extra special, everyone is given a wishing star and are prompted to literally wish upon a star! The princesses helped us think of some great ideas for wishes and Lily has kept her wishing star for years! You'll also receive a postcard with each of the princesses' signatures (though they will also sign autograph books as well).
When arriving for your reservation, be sure to allow extra time and know that you might not be eating right away. When we first entered the castle, we waited in a short line to meet Cinderella before heading up to the dining hall. You'll definitely want to take in all the beautiful theming as you make your way to your table.
For a truly magical experience for tadpoles, consider booking an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique prior to your meal. We saw lots of young princesses and princes with their recent royal makeovers at Cinderella's Royal Table. It's a perfect way to show off the magical look and make for a truly memorable day. We suggest booking Bibbidi Bobbidi at least two hours prior to your CRT reservation to allow plenty of time.
Of course, this reservation is very hard to get and is also the most expensive character dining at Disney World. If you are unable to do Cinderella's Royal Table, there is also princess dining with Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT, as well as other character dining locations to choose from. Here are our character dining froggy favorites to help you choose!
