Re-Crafted Disney Violet Lemonade Recipe
For this Disney Violet Lemonade recipe, you’ll need:
- 4 oz. violet syrup
- 1 ½ cups of water
- 8 oz. of frozen lemonade concentrate
- 1 drop of red food coloring
- A tad bit of blue food coloring
- 3 cups of Ice
- Edible violet flowers (optional)
Combine all of the ingredients (violet syrup, water, red and blue food coloring and ice) into blender and blend until smooth.
Hop Tip: Use just a tad bit of blue food coloring — a little goes a long way! Dab food coloring on a toothpick and stir in. Start with a very small amount and add as needed until it reaches the desired violet color. Gel food coloring tends to be more saturated than liquid.
Pour into glasses and garnish with a violet and lemon. Share, sip and enjoy!
The tadpoles are sure to love this sweet treat! For you mama and papa frogs out there who need to balance out the sugary taste (or just need a break!), try Mommy Frog's secret ingredient: vodka. A splash (or shot) will do the trick!
