Inside This Post

Traveling to Walt Disney World with an infant or toddler is a magical experience. There's nothing quite like seeing your young froglet's expression the first time Mickey Mouse says hi or when they take in the sights and sounds on The Magic Carpets of Aladdin while soaring high above Adventureland. Yes, many magical experiences and memories await! However, traveling with an infant or toddler requires a lot of preparation — and nothing is more important than knowing where the baby care center is! Hop along with me as I share all the mommy (and daddy) frog details about the baby care centers at Walt Disney World, including where you'll find them and how they can help turn a stressful (or unexpected) moment around.

Baby Care Centers at Disney World

About the Baby Care Centers at Walt Disney World

Because Walt Disney World caters to everyone, the theme park understands that families have unique needs that require some additional assistance and privacy. Whether it's providing a private place to nurse, buying diapers or just getting a break from the noise and heat, Disney World offers baby care centers to cater to every need.

Below is a helpful overview of the baby care centers at Walt Disney World to help you plan for the best trip ahead.

Disney World Baby Care Center Overview

Disney World has four baby care centers throughout the park. This includes Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

At this time, neither of the water parks — Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach — has baby care centers, nor does Disney Springs or the resort hotels. That said, baby changing stations can be found in most restrooms.

All of the baby care centers at Walt Disney World come with a:

  • Restroom
  • Feeding area, equipped with high chairs, seating and a television (playing Disney movies, of course!)
  • Kitchenette with a microwave and a sink
  • Nursing room with chairs
  • Changing room with tables

Each baby care center is available on a first-come, first-served basis. While you will be able to enter at any point, you may have to wait for a changing table, microwave or nursing room to become available. Common baby items, including baby food, baby wipes, bibs, clothing, formula, juice, diapers and sunscreen are also available for purchase inside each baby care center. It's also important to note that the baby care centers do not have storage for personal items.

Froggy note: Like the amenities, these items are also available on a first-come, first-served basis based on availability. While these items are usually always stocked, you can also find clothes, food, diapers, formula and other essential items at your resort gift shop. Worst comes to worst, you can always order some from a nearby convenience store or grocery store via DoorDash or another shop and delivery app such as InstaCart. It's more money, yes, but you can also get larger quantities, too.

Disney World Baby Care Center Hours

Each baby care center opens with the park. So, even if you are visiting the parks for Early Theme Park Entry, a half hour earlier than the rest of the guests, the baby care center will be open. You can check your My Disney Experience app for daily theme park hours, as well as the location of each baby care center within the park. Just open the My Disney Experience app, tap on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom and type baby care center in the search bar. It'll give you the option to find the baby care center on the map and even give you walking directions. Disney really thinks of everything, don’t they?

Baby Care Center Locations at Disney World

As mentioned above, there are four baby care centers in Walt Disney World, including all four theme parks — Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

Generally, you'll find these baby care centers toward the front of each park, near (or relatively near) the entrance. In Magic Kingdom, the baby care center is to the left of Main Street, U.S.A., nestled in between Casey's Corner and The Crystal Palace. At EPCOT, the baby care center is located in the Odyssey, which is the large building to your left if you're heading into World Showcase. Depending on the time of year, this is where you'll usually find the popcorn buckets themed to that season's festival.

Animal Kingdom's baby care center can be found near Creature Comforts — the park's signature Starbucks Coffee location inside Discovery Island. Find this to the left of the Tree of Life, right before you cross the bridge in the Africa section of the park. And finally, in Hollywood Studios, you'll find the baby care center immediately to your left (and across from Crossroads of the World) as you enter the park.

Buying Medication

The baby care centers sell over-the-counter medication, such as cough drops and children's pain relievers. Like other common baby supplies, such as formula and diapers, you can also buy over-the-counter medication at your Disney World resort gift shop or via delivery apps.

Getting First Aid

First Aid Station at Magic Kingdom

While the baby care centers at Walt Disney World offer a private place to feed and change your baby, they do not provide first aid services. Many first-time visitors mistakenly believe that the two are the same, but Disney World actually offers separate first aid stations for guests in need of their services.

Unlike the baby care centers, Disney World has a first aid center at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach, in addition to all four theme parks. These first aid centers are all located in the same areas as the baby care centers at each theme park (i.e., near the entrance of Hollywood Studios, inside the Odyssey at EPCOT, near Creature Comforts at Animal Kingdom and near Casey's Corner at Magic Kingdom). At Typhoon Lagoon, find the first aid center near Leaning Palms and, at Blizzard Beach, near Lottawatta Lodge.

The first aid locations at Disney World offer basic, quick remedies, including bandages to address a skinned knee and over-the-counter medications for headaches or minor illnesses. Likewise, if you have medication that needs to be refrigerated, you can bring it to these first aid stations and they'll store it for you so you have quick access during your day at the park.

For emergencies, however, Disney World partners with AdventHealth Centra Care Urgent Care located at 12500 S. Apopka Vineland Road, Lake Buena Vista, FL. The urgent care is right next to Walt Disney World property and open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to midnight.

Lost Children

Another important tip to know for your Disney World trip is that the baby care centers are also where you'll go if your child is lost. If your child gets lost in the park, a cast member will escort them to the baby care center and wait with them until you arrive. If you and your child get separated at Disney Springs, alert a cast member immediately and go to the Welcome Center. This is the reunification spot for families, since the shopping district does not have a dedicated baby care center.

While this is a stressful scenario for any family to experience, Disney does have plenty of safety measures in place so reunification happens quickly. We also have some tips to help prevent your child from getting lost at Disney World. (There's no lost children — just lost parents!)

Can I Bring a Stroller Into the Baby Care Centers at Disney World?

Unfortunately, no, you will not be able to bring a stroller into any of the baby care centers at Walt Disney World. These care centers are small and cannot accommodate multiple strollers at once. As such, none are allowed in. However, there is stroller parking nearby if necessary. Check out our stroller tips post to learn more about bringing (or renting) a stroller at the theme parks.

Mommy Frog's Tips for Bringing a Baby to Walt Disney World

Stroller at Disney World - Stroller Parking at Disney World

While this is not an exhaustive list, here are just a few of my tips for bringing a baby or toddler to Walt Disney World that have made our family trips less stressful:

  • Know where the baby care centers and first aid stations are before you arrive. There's nothing more stressful than urgently needing their services but not knowing where to go. Once you arrive at the park, make a quick stop in front of the baby care center and take a photo or video of the surroundings to help you remember.
  • Utilize the baby care centers for quick naps instead of going back to your resort. This way, you can take a break without the rest of your party, including your other kids, having to take a break from the rides. Making everyone stop when they don't want to can sometimes lead to added and unnecessary stress.
  • Likewise, stick to your child's normal nap routine. While it may not be as easy as it is back home, where there's less stimulation, adhering to routine nap times can make your day much easier (and more comfortable for your baby).
  • Bring your own stroller to the parks instead of renting one. This is more of a general tip, but from my experience, the strollers at Disney World have less storage than the one I had from home. Furthermore, it adds more convenience, considering you can't use your rented stroller outside the theme parks unless you use a third-party off-site rental company.
  • Bring headphones, as Disney World can be too loud for little ones. As Dumbo would say, protect those ears!
  • Request a crib from your Disney World resort ahead of time, as they are offered in limited quantities. Just call Guest Services to make your request when booking your stay. Also, did you know that Undercover Tourist can save you some green on your Walt Disney World resort hotel stay?
