Hi there! Welcome to our weekly roundup of the most interesting theme park news around Universal Orlando, the Walt Disney World Resort, SeaWorld Orlando, Universal Studios Hollywood, Disneyland Resort, other theme parks and more.
- Killer dolls, demon bounty hunters and tortured artists — oh my! Universal Orlando revealed four new original haunted houses for the Halloween Horror Nights 2025 lineup. In El Artista: A Spanish Haunting, you're transported to 19th-century Spain where an artist's work comes alive and possesses him. In Dolls: Let's Play Dead, shrink down to the size of a doll yourself, but don't end up like the other demented toys owned by a twisted little girl. In Grave of the Fresh, enter the underworld overtaken by flesh-eating creatures. And in Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters, red-hot lava demons are melting everything in their path. For more details about the event, hop over to our Halloween Horror Nights guide.
- Can't make it to Horror Nights in Orlando (or Hollywood) this fall? The terror is slowly spreading. Universal Horror Unleashed has its next "victim" in sight — Chicago! This new year-round experience will eventually make its way to the Midwest in the future (the exact timeline is still in the dark). The first location in Las Vegas is set to open Aug. 14, 2025, and it will feature four haunted houses, four themed areas and dining options.
