Let's say your significant other has planned the trip of a lifetime to Disneyland Resort, but now that visit coincides with your team making the playoffs, finals or even the Super Bowl! Where can you watch the game at Disneyland? Pack that jersey. Here are a few places to watch the game at Disneyland on the property (and nearby) so you don't have to hop too far from the fun while rooting for your favorite team. And speaking of the Super Bowl, Disneyland hosted the Super Bowl-winning team on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024!

Where to Watch the Game at Disneyland - Super Bowl Cavalcade

Where to Watch the Game at Disneyland

Hey sports fans, we've rounded up our favorite spots to watch the game at Disneyland Resort, including a few new hotel locations. Whether it's football, soccer, hockey, baseball, basketball, tennis or golf, you can usually catch a match while on the property. There aren't any bars that have televisions inside the theme parks, but you'll find options in each of the hotels and in Downtown Disney.

We know game day is important to you so we've provided locations with photos to help you choose your perfect viewing spot. You can also view menus for all these locations online or in the Disneyland app. (And if you want to catch a live sporting event, we can help you get great tickets to the game, too!) It's pretty common to find sports fans in the park wearing team jerseys on big game days. So where do these fans go when it's game time?

Downtown Disney Locations

Downtown Disney is centrally located between the hotels and theme parks. It has a few bars and restaurants that are almost guaranteed to be playing any major sports games on TV.

Splitsville Luxury Lanes

Splitsville is our top choice if you want to watch the game with ease! This lounge/restaurant/bowling alley boasts over 25 television screens, both upstairs and downstairs, so you can rest assured you'll have a nice view of the action here. You can make dining reservations in the Disneyland app or just walk into the restaurant. There are screens all around the restaurant and the lounge. Plus, the menu offers some great dining options, including Game Day Specials!

Ballast Point

This lofty location has four screens in the bar area, two on either side of the bar. The screens are small for the space, but it's a nice place to hang out with views overlooking Downtown Disney.

You can enjoy many beers on tap, tasty wings, burgers and other game-day food here.

Tortilla Jo's

This Mexican restaurant has some outdoor and indoor screens. It's open for the 2024 Super Bowl but is closing permanently soon after (on March 31, 2024), so it's only a short-term solution for watching a game on the property.

Watching the Game at Disneyland Hotels

Here are the only Disneyland Resort hotel locations with television screens. Two of them are brand-new options with larger screens. You do not have to be a guest at any of these hotels to visit or dine in these spaces.

Palm Breeze Bar at Disneyland Hotel

Palm Breeze Bar is a brand-new outdoor (but covered) bar at the new Villas at the Disneyland Hotel DVC tower. Located beside the pools, it emanates vacation vibes all around and provides an open-air feel.

The bar has four sizable screens for watching the game (one facing out in each direction from the central bar area). You can enjoy several bites and drinks here. You do not have to stay in the villas to enjoy this beautiful space. This location now takes both reservations and walk-ups.

Great Maple at Pixar Place Hotel

Where to Catch the Game at Disneyland - Great Maple Bar

This spot is a hidden gem! Great Maple is a new restaurant that has a central bar with two screens on either side. It's easy to get a reservation. You may want to mention that you want a view of the game when you check in, as there are several restaurant tables on either side of the bar with a full view. But you can also just walk in to sit at the bar and watch the game.

The food portions are huge here, so pace yourself and maybe share some items. You can get breakfast, lunch or dinner all day long here.

GCH Craftsman Bar at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

This poolside bar and restaurant has two televisions at the bar (one on either side). It's best to reserve and request a seat near the bar or arrive early to secure a seat at the actual bar. This hotel location is just across from the theme park entrance to the Grand Californian and right next to the pool.

Hearthstone Lounge at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

Where to Watch the Game at Disneyland - Bar at hearthstone Lounge

Just off the gorgeous lobby is the hidden Hearthstone Lounge. It has a bar, lounge seating, two smallish TV screens and a cozy fireplace. And it's open late! You cannot make a reservation in advance, but you can join a waitlist at busy times. Enjoy snacks, sandwiches or artisanal pizzas, as well as a full bar, here. It's a nice space, but if you want to see the action up close, you might opt for a location with a larger screen.

Club Lounges

If you stay in a club-level room at the on-site hotels, the club lounges have televisions (along with some snacks and drinks).

Your Hotel Room

As a backup option, you could always grab some snacks and drinks to watch the game in peace from your hotel room.

Off Property

Anaheim GardenWalk (Outside Disneyland)

GardenWalk is about a 15-minute walk from the theme parks. It's off-property but has various bars and restaurants where you can watch the game. It's close to several hotels off Katella, Harbor and Clementine.

The good news about watching the game at Disneyland is that if your team wins, you can celebrate at Disneyland after the game! And the bad news is also good news because if your team loses, you can at least cheer yourself up. After all, you are at Disneyland — "The Happiest Place on Earth!" Disneyland is always a great place to lift your spirits. It's impossible to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and not smile. Even the ghosts in the Haunted Mansion bring "happy haunts." It's a win-win!
