Schlitterbahn Waterpark New Braunfels
Frog Family Rating:
Using the natural landscape, Schlitterbahn Waterpark New Braunfels resides along the Comal River, spanning 70 acres with over 50 attractions. The area has strong German roots which can be seen in the name (a combination of the German words for “slippery” and “road”) and structures throughout the park. There are multiple options to soak, play and ride from heated pools with poolside bars, kid-friendly splash zones, winding slides and lazy rivers. Plus, while there are plenty of delicious options to dine in the park, picnics are also encouraged and allowed (just please no alcohol or glass)!
Schlitterbahn Waterpark New Braunfels (open seasonally) is located about an hour drive from both San Antonio and Austin. The water park has been a Texan family favorite for years and is the perfect way to beat the heat on your Central Texas vacation.
