As it gets closer, Disney is unwrapping more details, including the full set of colorful 'fits for Mickey & friends, entertainment offerings and more. Some of the newest highlights include Duffy and ShellieMay in the Disneyland 70th's Celebrate Happy Cavalcade, a new original song by Fitz and the Tantrums (as well as a Boyz II Men rendition of "Rainbow Connection") in World of Color Happiness! and the addition of Miguel and Dante in "it's a small world" once it reopens April 25. - Speaking of birthday parties, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park turns 30 this year! To celebrate, you'll find special festivities hoppening at the water park all throughout April, including dance parties, Mickey & Minnie in winter outfits, family games (with prizes!) and character-themed tubes. What an end to a frogtastic wintery season! Then, once Blizzard Beach closes at the end of April, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park reopens May 1, 2025, for tropical fun. Learn more in our Blizzard Beach guide and Refurbishments post.
- EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival also celebrates its 30th year. We hopped over on the first day of the spring festival to try new items at the Outdoor Kitchens and see the new "Moana"-themed topiary at the park entrance. Included with park admission, the Flower & Garden Festival will stay in full bloom until June 2, 2025. Catch all the buzz in our Flower & Garden guide, and don't miss the full menus here!
- Another spring festival we love attending is SeaWorld San Diego's Seven Seas Food Festival, which begins today, March 7, and runs on Fridays to Sundays through April 27, 2025. This year, the festival will showcase more than 150 new food and drink offerings, including four new areas that focus on African, Korean, French and Spanish cuisines. Plus, live entertainment includes K-pop performances, Brazilian samba acts and Polynesian fire dancing. Can't wait to set sail on the seven seas ... of flavors!
- May the Force be with you (and your stomach). The Season of the Force foodie guide dropped, complete with out-of-this-world offerings, including novelty items such as sippers and popcorn buckets (pictured above). Fans can indulge in returning treats, such as the Millennium Falcon Chocolate Lollipop and Peka Pretzel, and try new items, including the Galactic Gyro Burger and Fried Falumpaset Cheese Skewer. How can you resist all the yummy foods and drinks? Season of the Force takes place March 28 to May 11, 2025, and here's everything you can expect.
- The LEGO Group and seven LEGOLAND Resorts worldwide are launching the first-ever LEGO Festival, including the U.S. locations (LEGOLAND California, LEGOLAND Florida and LEGOLAND New York). At the heart of the LEGO Festival, there will be 49 new LEGO builds and five different zones encouraging guests to play in different ways: music, creativity, dance, gaming and chilling out. Starting May 3, the festival will hoppen each weekend, leading up to June 11, aka International Day of Play.
That's a wrap on the latest theme park news.
Hoppy planning!
