Everyone has a favorite thing to do at Disneyland. For some, it's going on rides or meeting characters. For others, it's watching the shows, fireworks and parades. Personally, I love seeing my family get excited over each of their favorite things while we visit. But what is my favorite thing to do at Disneyland you ask? One word: eating. Disneyland Resort is never short on new and exciting foods. And oh boy, are they good! It seems as though there's something new to try every time we visit. And even if there isn't, we have a plethora of go-to's that pretty much never change. We're taking a look at our favorite new Disneyland foods and drinks for the month. Keep reading for the best of the best!
Best Disneyland Food in July 2025
There are lots of classic Disney foods to grab while in the parks, such as Mickey pretzels, corn dogs, ice cream bars and more. But there are so many fun and culinarily adventurous foods to try. We have a whole post on the best snacks at Disneyland, as well as posts on the best adult drinks, foods for kids, best on-the-go foods, where to find breakfast and even a whole galactic food guide! Basically what I'm saying is, when it comes to food, we know what we're talking about. So let's take a look at what's fresh in July 2025 at Disneyland.
1. Black Caf Slushy
Yep, that's right. A drink is holding our top food spot this month! If you've ever tried the Cold Brew Black Caf, then you know how good this new drink (dessert?) is. The slushy version of the Black Caf is made with cold brew slushy, chocolate cookie sweet cream and creme-filled chocolate cookie crumbles. Grab one at Kat Saka's Kettle in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge for $7.99.
2. Miso Caesar Salad
Anything at Disneyland with pickles included is going to be delicious. It's just a fact! This salad from Tropical Hideaway is no exception. Romaine, shaved parmesan, croutons, pickles and pickled onions. Plus the most flavorful Caesar dressing with a hint of miso. YUM! Skip the Dole Whip line and head straight to the bao station to grab this miso Caesar salad for $11.29.
3. Snack Size Monte Cristo
The "snack-size" Monte Cristo sandwich is back at Royal Street Veranda! This deep-fried sandwich filled with ham, turkey and Swiss cheese, dusted with Mardi Gras powdered sugar and served with a side of jam is most definitely not snack size. You're getting that same sized Monte Cristo you would at Café Orleans, but without the fries and table-side service. And this is a whole lot of food for the price of a snack. Find this iconic Disneyland food at Royal Street Veranda in Disneyland Park for $11.49.
4. Birria Toasted Sandwich
Is she new? No. But if you've never had the Birria grilled cheese — you are missing out! The toasted cheese creations (and even the regular one with the tomato soup) are no doubt one of the top food items at Disneyland as a whole. But this extremely flavorful, protein packed, juicy, crunchy sandwich with a side of consommé is the best of the best. You can find the Birria Toasted Cheese at Jolly Holiday for $15.49.
5. Baked Cheesy Biscuits
What makes just about every savory food better? Cheese. These cheesy biscuits are baked with sharp cheddar and Cajun cheese, brushed with garlic butter and topped with parsley. You can also get a side of Cajun cheese sauce to dip them in if it's not cheesy enough already. Grab these goodies in Disneyland Park at Royal Street Veranda for $8.99.
6. Cookie Croissant
This super light and crispy snack is the perfect hybrid of sweet and salty. The flat croissant coated in sugar is big enough to share and crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle. Find this creative snack at Maurice's Treats in Disneyland for $5.79.
7. Fried Tamale Walking Taco
This fried beef tamale with chili, corn chips and diced onions with cilantro, shredded cheese and sour cream is a throwback to the first years of Disneyland. The dish is a fusion of two items once served at Casa de Fritos in Frontierland — the Ta-cup and Frito Chili Pie. Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante may have changed since then, but remains one of my favorite places to get a meal! Sit down for a fried tamale walking taco (and always ask for a side of green salsa!) at Rancho del Zocalo for $13.99.
8. Buffalo Chicken Beignet Slider
Special for Celebrate Soulfully, this concoction is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. Fried chicken dipped in buffalo sauce, topped with creamy slaw served between two Mickey-shaped beignets. Yum! Grab this limited-time treat over at Royal Street Veranda at Disneyland for $11.49.
9. Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese in a Bread Bowl
This is a meal as mouth filling and hearty as its name. The pulled pork is cooked to perfection and smothered in barbecue sauce. The pasta and cheese sauce are also super tasty, but the true victory lies within the bread bowl itself. If you've ever had anything in a bread bowl at Disneyland before, you know how good these things are. And this one is stuffed to the brim with goodness. The pulled pork Mac and cheese in a bread bowl is served at Refreshment Corner in Disneyland for $13.49.
10. Mufuletta Salad
It's always a good time at Tiana's Palace. There is so much food to choose from and it's so fun to sit outside and listen to live musicians or watch the Mark Twain pass by. We tried this unassuming salad last week and wow. It's packed with romaine, mortadella, salami, rosemary ham, aged white cheddar, croutons, basil and house-made olive relish. The flavors are so complex and complement each other perfectly. The portion size is large and great for sharing or as an entire meal! And it's only $14.49.
11. Strawberry Shortcake Macaron
This adorable macaron filled with vanilla bean buttercream, strawberry jam and fresh strawberry with strawberry whipped topping and strawberry crunch is the perfect treat for the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration. Not only is it super Instagram-able, but it's also extremely tasty. Just be ready for a super sweet crunch! Hop over to our full foodie guide to the 70th to learn more about the celebratory food offerings. Pick up a 70th Celebration Macaron at Jolly Holiday for $8.29.
12. Banoffee Pie Cold Brew
Disneyland has been getting seriously adventurous with the cold brews lately, and we are definitely here for it! Adventure is out there! And we've taken on the adventure of trying and keeping up with all of the Disneyland coffees. In fact, we have a whole post just for the best coffee at Disneyland. But this Banoffee Pie Cold Brew is simply top tier. It's a butterscotch cold brew topped with banana cold foam and cocoa shavings. It definitely has that artificial banana taste, so if you're a fellow lover of banana Laffy Taffy's, this one is for you! You can find this creation at Cappuccino Cart in Disney California Adventure for $7.75.
13. Lemon and Raspberry Tiramisu
This dessert is pretty much summer in a dish. It's lemon tiramisu cream with layers of raspberry-soaked ladyfingers, lemon curd and fresh raspberries, finished with dried raspberry and a chocolate Mickey. Pick one up at Jolly Holiday for $7.29.
14. Passion Fruit Mint Julep
Mint Julep Bar at Disneyland is a staple within the resort. You simply cannot go wrong with a classic Mint Julep and a bag of Mickey-shaped beignets. But sometimes the seasonal Mint Juleps just hit the spot. This new Passion Fruit Mint Julep with a hint of lime is so refreshing and tasty. Not too sweet, not too sour. Find this beautiful summer drink at Mint Julep Bar in Disneyland Park for $6.49.
15. SoCal Corn Dog
This new concoction popped up in Disney California Adventure and it's giving — a very popular burger chain in Los Angeles (red and yellow logo, red palm tree cups...). A hot dog rolled in French fries with American cheese, pickle and tomato relish and house sauce. We'll take 14 of them. You can find the SoCal Corn Dog at Corn Dog Castle for $13.29.
16. Cinnamon Roll Pretzel
Although this perfectly soft and extremely flavorful cinnamon roll soft pretzel hybrid isn't new, she's still one to mention! The pretzel is pretty large and dense, perfect for sharing. It's one of our favorite sweets in the whole park, and we've yet to find something to demote it from our top foods list! You'll find this baby in Disneyland Park at Refreshment Corner for $7.99.
We can't wait to try the Cheeseburger Bao in Disney California Adventure!
