The Frog Family's Wish List: New Disneyland Food in February 2025

by Mommy Frog on February 5, 2025
Los Angeles

Everyone has a favorite thing to do at Disneyland. For some, it's going on rides or meeting characters. For others, it's watching the shows, fireworks and parades. Personally, I love seeing my family get excited over each of their favorite things while we visit. But what is my favorite thing to do at Disneyland you ask? One word: eating. Disneyland Resort is never short on new and exciting foods. And oh boy, are they good! It seems as though there's something new to try every time we visit. And even if there isn't, we have a plethora of go-to's that pretty much never change. We're taking a look at our favorite new Disneyland foods and drinks for the month. Keep reading for the best of the best!

Best Disneyland Food in February 2025

There are lots of classic Disney foods to grab while in the parks, such as Mickey pretzels, corn dogs, ice cream bars and more. But there are so many fun and culinarily adventurous foods to try. We have a whole post on the best snacks at Disneyland, as well as posts on the best adult drinks, foods for kids, best on-the-go foods, where to find breakfast and even a whole galactic food guide! Basically what I'm saying is, when it comes to food, we know what we're talking about. So let's take a look at what's fresh in February 2025 at Disneyland.

1. Snack-Size Mardi Gras Monte Cristo

The Frog Family's Wish List: New Disneyland Food in January 2025 - Monte Cristo

If you've ever had a Monte Cristo from Cafe Orleans, you know how exciting this is! The Monte Cristo is ham, turkey and Swiss cheese deep fried (in the tastiest batter to ever exist) and covered in powdered sugar with a side of jam. It usually costs you more than $25 plus tip for the full portion and a side of fries. Not to mention trying to get a reservation at Cafe Orleans. This so-called "snack-size" portion is actually pretty substantial. We're just hoping it sticks around for longer than Mardi Gras season! You'll find the sandwich right around the corner from its original home in Disneyland, now at Royal Street Veranda for $11.49.

2. Cinnamon Roll Pretzel

The Frog Family's Wish List: New Disneyland Food in January 2025 - Cinnamon Roll Pretzel

It's back! Although this perfectly soft and extremely flavorful cinnamon roll soft pretzel hybrid isn't new, we've been missing her for months now! The pretzel is pretty large and dense, perfect for sharing. You'll find this baby in Disneyland Park at Refreshment Corner for $7.99.

3. Baked Cheesy Biscuits

The Frog Family's Wish List: New Disneyland Food in February 2025 - cheesy biscuits

What makes just about every savory food better? Cheese. These cheesy biscuits are baked with sharp cheddar and Cajun cheese, brushed with garlic butter and topped with parsley. You can also get a side of Cajun cheese sauce to dip them in if it's not cheesy enough already. Grab these goodies in Disneyland Park at Royal Street Veranda for $8.99.

4. Deep Fried Pineapple

The Frog Family's Wish List: New Disneyland Food in February 2025 - deep fried pineapple

If you like fair style food, this one is for you! It's a whole pineapple spear, drenched in chocolate and deep fried in a batter reminiscent of a corn dog! We ate ours with a fork and knife because it is definitely messy.

5. Maple Bacon Churro

If there's one thing we always know will be good, it's the churros. We're convinced Disneyland churros have a sort of extra tasty magic pixie-dusted over them because they just never miss. This maple bacon churro isn't new, but we haven't seen it at the resort in quite some time! You'll find it over in Disney California Adventure at Willie's Churros for $7.50.

6. Green Tea Doughnuts

The Frog Family's Wish List: New Disneyland Food in January 2025 - Green tea donuts

Hidden away inside Lamplight Lounge on Pixar Pier are the most wonderfully light and delicious doughnuts. You'll usually find seasonal variations, such as a Valentine's Day strawberry frosted or a Christmas-time chocolate marshmallow. It makes perfect sense to powder the pleasant bites with green tea flavoring now that we are in Lunar New Year season! You'll find the doughnuts in Disney California Adventure at Lamplight Lounge for $11.

7. Mini Char Siu Pork Shanks

The Frog Family's Wish List: New Disneyland Food in January 2025 - Char Siu Pork Ribs

Speaking of Lunar New Year, did you know Disney California Adventure is host to an entire festival based around the holiday? There are a handful of food booths around the park you can read about in our Lunar New Year Menus post! We have our eye on these char siu pork shanks that come with rice and pineapple chutney. You can use either a Sip & Savor tab or purchase them on their own at the Bamboo Blessings food booth in Disney California Adventure starting Jan. 17, 2025.

8. Burger Fantasyland Faire Fold

You're getting ground beef, hash browns, cheese, white cheese sauce and burger sauce all wrapped up in a flour tortilla with the Fantasyland fold! If you're not feeling the burger, you can grab the chicken or spicy chicken variation. This new food is only available after 4 p.m. at Red Rose Tavern for $14.99.

9. Brown Sugar Milk Tea

The Frog Family's Wish List: New Disneyland Food in January 2025 -Brown Sugar Milk Tea

The other anticipated treat from the Lunar New Year festival is this brown sugar milk tea. It's made with Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. Ceylon tea, hotteok-inspired brown sugar syrup, maple and butter pecan syrups and oat milk, garnished with banana milk-infused whipped cream. Yum! This gem is also available at the Bamboo Blessings food booth in Disney California Adventure starting Jan. 17, 2025, for $6.99.

10. Starlight Taro Tea

The Frog Family's Wish List: New Disneyland Food in January 2025 - Taro Tea

Sweet but fresh, this beautiful purple tea actually does taste as good as it looks. It's a butterfly pea tea infused with taro milk and garnished with blueberry popping spheres. Grab one in Disneyland Park at Galactic Grill for $7.49.

11. Birria Potato

The Frog Family's Wish List: New Disneyland Food in January 2025 - Birria Potato

While Jolly Holiday is closed for refurbishment, most of the eatery's staples have made their way over to Refreshment Corner. One of the fan-favorite Jolly Holiday foods, the birria toasted cheese, usually makes its appearance this time of year. Refreshment Corner seems to be doing its best to satisfy our birria craving by adding all the ingredients (except the bread) to one of their classic baked potatoes. Although nothing can beat the birria toasted cheese, this filling dish is packed with flavor. Try the birria potato in Disneyland Park at Refreshment Corner for $13.79.

12. Moo Shu Pork Burrito

The Frog Family's Wish List: New Disneyland Food in January 2025 - Moo Shu Pork burrito

Every Southern Californian knows a thing or two about burritos. We have been loving Disneyland's use of the staple regional food while experimenting with Asian-inspired dishes. This moo shu pork burrito consists of sautéed vegetables, egg fried rice and crispy noodles with a side of plum sauce. This is a large, full-size burrito and, in our froggy opinion, definitely worth the price. Pick up one of these exciting wraps in Disney California Adventure at Studio Catering for $13.99.

Items we can't wait to try once they are released:

Red Gamma Gulp

New on Valentine's Day, this red velvet cold brew with cream cheese foam looks so lovely!

Peperoni Pizza Pocket

Pepperoni, mozzarella, and house-made marina sauce wrapped in empanada dough. Coming 2/14 to Avengers Campus.

Red Rage Wings

Spicy chicken wings tossed in habanero sauce and served with potato bites and ranch dressing. Coming 2/14 to Avengers Campus.
