Since its grand opening last year, the skies above Universal Epic Universe have only ignited twice: on the Fourth of July and New Year's Eve. Well, after a year of hoping that pyrotechnics would become a more frequent occurrence at Universal Orlando Resort's newest theme park, our wish has been granted! Starting July 7, 2026, Epic Universe will debut a dazzling nighttime spectacular that only the gods themselves could've conjured. Running nightly, Universal Celestial Goodnight will wrap up a day of world-class thrills, jaw-dropping magic and precious memories with a mesmerizing display of dancing fountains, lighting effects and a fireworks finale that will illuminate the starlit expanse.
Developed by Universal's entertainment team (the geniuses behind CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular and Halloween Horror Nights), Universal Celestial Goodnight pays homage to the beloved characters and whirlwind adventures found within the portals of Epic Universe — from the majestic wonder of How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and playful competition of Super Nintendo World to the bewitching grandeur of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic and the eerie mystery of Dark Universe.
Featuring nearly 600 synchronized light fixtures, more than 350 fountains and seven million LED lights embedded throughout Celestial Park — the beating heart of Epic Universe — the vibrant and mystical world will twinkle with meticulous choreography set to a foot-tapping, head-bopping musical score. Then, as the cosmic celebration draws to a close, Luna and Apollo will conduct a pyrotechnic finale as an epic farewell to an action-packed day at the park.
Universal Celestial Goodnight will run nightly at park close. Showtimes are subject to change, depending on park hours, which you can (and should!) double-check in the Universal Orlando Resort mobile app.
