New Experiences Onboard the Disney Destiny (April 14, 2025)
On April 14, 2025, Disney Cruise Line revealed even more details about the upcoming Disney Destiny. Here's a breakdown of what was announced:
The Grand Hall
- The Grand Hall is going to be very grand, indeed! Inspired by "Black Panther," its design will reflect both heroic and villainous energy — ya never know who will stop by! Expect bold colors and 360-degree lighting that can shift instantly, especially when certain characters (hello, Loki!) make their entrance.
Character Experiences & Entertainment
- Is that Minnie Mouse dressed in her superhero outfit?! It's giving Ms. Marvel and we can't get enough.
- Cruella de Vil will host two brand-new experiences: Cruella’s wretched runway, a fashion-forward experience where guests walk the runway as Cruella gives her critique in real time. There will also be musical takeover, where guests help her rewrite the "Cruella de Vil" theme song into something more, well, flattering, darling!
- Dr. Facilier will materialize with tricks, sleight of hand and tempting games of chance in the Grand Hall.
- Maleficent will make her appearance over in Saga lounge. You can choose to observe her from afar or dare to get closer. Mmmhahaha!
- The brand-new stage production, "Disney Hercules," will feature massive puppets, created by the same award-winning puppeteer behind "Disney The Tale of Moana" on the Disney Treasure.
Stateroom Art & Design
- Disney shared more details about the stateroom decor that will carry over the hero versus villain theme. Inside every stateroom will be beautiful new artwork inspired by Hercules, Mulan, Merida or Sorcerer Mickey Mouse. The details are everything!
New Food and Beverages
Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King
- This new Rotational Dining restaurant will offer a menu filled with African-inspired dishes.
- Sample entrees include Berbere-spiced chicken, Cape Malay shrimp curry, roasted pork tenderloin and Heirloom Tomato Kachumbari.

- Two signature drinks are the Can You Feel the Rum Tonight? (tropical rum cocktail) and Slimy Yet Satisfying (lime gelatin Sprite mocktail with gummy worms!)
De Vil's
- The Cruella-inspired piano bar will serve up trendy and sophisticated drinks. There's the Fashionista, a strawberry-banana tequila drink served with strawberry shortcake popcorn! And the Fearless Sir Galahad, a non-alcoholic smoked bourbon-style drink.
The Sanctum
- This moody Marvel-inspired lounge is themed after Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum. It will serve creative cocktails such as the Circle of the Cosmos, a lemony gin cocktail and the Vapors of Valtorr, made with vodka, ginger beer, butterfly pea syrup and floating bubbles.
- There will also be stuffed waffles with custard or berry compote on the menu.
Edna Á La Mode Sweets
- The sweet shop onboard is themed after the fashion-forward Edna Mode from "The Incredibles." The shop will serve gelato and ice cream, Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums (of course!), Chocolate barks themed to Edna and Jack-Jack, Cupcakes inspired by the Parr family and Dulce de leche-filled cookies.

Day 3 of Disney Destiny Details (Aug. 1, 2024)
All Things Marvel
- The Grand Hall is the first space you see once you step on board — and on the Disney Destiny, a stunning statue of T'Challa, the Black Panther, will welcome you. Other details in the Great Hall include metalwork on the pillars inspired by the armor and stacked jewelry found in Wakanda and a breathtaking light fixture inspired by Vibranium that will generate special colorful effects.
- Also inspired by the architecture of Wakanda, Saga will be the two-story venue on Decks 4 and 5, serving as a central hub for family activities and adult-exclusive evening entertainment.
- For the first time in Disney Cruise Line history, a Marvel character will be the signature stern character, and it's none other than Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots, who are attempting to decorate the ship with their spider webs.
- The Sanctum will be the first DCL lounge inspired by "Doctor Strange." Centrally located (like all Sanctums), the lounge is home to mystical items and a magical menu of cocktails, spirits and coffees. Watch out for surprises and hidden details!
- A penthouse fitting for Tony Stark, the Destiny Tower Suite honors Iron Man's legacy with armor-like materials and mechanical elements in a luxurious style. With nearly 2,000 square feet of living space and incredible views, the Destiny Tower Suite comfortably fits eight guests and features separate sleeping, eating and playing spaces, including a full kitchen and private ensuite elevator.
- The Concierge Lounge celebrates the Avengers and is inspired by their Manhattan headquarters.
- Disney Destiny will also feature two guest-favorite experiences from its sister ships, the Wish and the Treasure. Worlds of Marvel is back as a rotational dining experience with special hosts, Rocket and Groot. In Disney's Oceaneer Club, kids ages 3 to 10 can train to become superheroes at Marvel Super Hero Academy.

Day 2 of Disney Destiny Details (July 31, 2024)
Themed Lounges

- At Cask and Cannon, join the Pirates of the Caribbean crew for a pint. The menu boasts rare, specialty and vintage rums, as well as brews crafted specially for the venue ... straight from the barrel! This new pub will also feature all of the treasures that the pirates have, erm, collected, over the years.
- Haunted Mansion Parlor will first debut on the Disney Treasure, but it will also materialize on the Destiny!
Entertainment & Activities
- The AquaMouse, Disney Cruise Line's signature attraction at sea, will have a brand-new storyline, "Sing a Silly Song," aboard the Destiny. Join Mickey and Minnie Mouse as they trek to the peak of Villain Mountain. But once they encounter villains such as the Queen of Hearts, Scar and Chernabog, the adventure turns from wicked to wacky.
- Aboard the ship, you may encounter numerous villains including Maleficent, Dr. Facilier, Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee and Oogie Boogie — as well as misunderstood personalities, such as Captain Jack Sparrow, Bruno and Loki. From character greetings to dance parties and interactive trivia contests, you'll have to watch out for these formidable foes!
Day 1 of Disney Destiny Details (July 30, 2024)
Dining
- As one of the three main rotational dining restaurants, Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King will bring the story and songs of "The Lion King" to life with an ensemble of live musicians and storytellers as you feast like a lion. Throughout the meal, you'll be treated to special productions of "Circle of Life," "Hakuna Matata," a mashup of "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" and "Be Prepared," an instrumental version of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" paired with interpretive dance and a rendition of "He Lives in You."
- From fashion designer to sweet shop owner, Edna Mode's short film, "Auntie Edna," inspires the new Edna Á La Mode Sweets, which will be the hot spot to get gelato, ice cream, cookies, candies and specialty treats aboard the Disney Destiny.
- Fuel up at two casual walk-up cafes located just off the Grand Hall. Cafe Megara pays homage to "Hercules" with a vibrant "Greco disco" design, while Cafe Merida gives a nod to "Brave" with its Celtic-centered design.

Many staterooms will also have an adjoining door to accommodate larger parties.
- Concierge guests will receive Disney Cruise Line's premium level of service with access to exclusive areas and amenities, including a concierge lounge and private sun deck.
- Among the concierge staterooms and suites will be four royal suites inspired by "Hercules" and "The Incredibles" — the Hero Suites are inspired by Greco-Roman architecture, colors and patterns, while the IncrediSuites boast a bold, mid-century modern aesthetic.
