While onboard, guests will interact with heroes and villains from stories such as "Hercules," "The Lion King" and "One Hundred and One Dalmatians." In fact, you'll get to meet and interact with Maleficent, Dr. Facilier, Cruella, Hook, Oogie Boogie, Captain Jack Sparrow and more.
For the first time, the ship’s character statue features a Marvel superhero: T’Challa, the original Black Panther. And fans can watch as Loki, the mischievous Marvel favorite, declares himself ruler of the ship in a live show. The Grand Hall will come alive with a 360-degree lighting display that reacts to appearances by Disney and Marvel characters.

And who is that on the stern? A Marvel Super Hero swings across the stern of a Disney Cruise Line ship. We didn't know we needed to see a Spider-Bot in a snorkel until now!
The Disney Destiny sails year-round from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During her inaugural season, the ship will embark on 4- and 5-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean, including visits to one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations – Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay.
Disney Destiny Staterooms
Even heroes need their rest! As we've come to expect in any Disney Cruise Line stateroom, Disney Destiny accommodations are luxurious and absolutely gorgeous, with clean, comfy and functional designs (with a sprinkle of Disney magic). The staterooms aboard the Disney Destiny feature unique artwork showcasing legendary Disney journeys, including Hercules (shown in the photo above), Mulan, Merida and Sorcerer Mickey from Disney's "Fantasia."
You'll also find Disney Cruise Line's split-bathroom concept aboard the Destiny, with connecting doors available to adjoin staterooms, both perfect for accommodating larger parties (and families). You'll have a heavenly night of sleep (after a full day of adventuring, of course!).
Concierge staterooms include exclusive access to a concierge lounge and private sun deck, with staterooms and suites inspired by "Fantasia." Seven oceanview rooms directly above the bridge will offer floor-to-ceiling views, with decor inspired by "The Incredibles."
The Disney Destiny also offers four royal suites. Hero Suites, inspired by "Hercules," sport Greco-Roman architecture, colors and patterns. IncrediSuites are a little more modern in style, taking their inspiration from "The Incredibles."
The Destiny Tower suite is the penthouse, honoring one of the greatest heroes in the MCU — Iron Man, aka Tony Stark. Look for armor-like materials, mechanical elements, a two-story window and a private ensuite elevator.
Disney Destiny Recreation and Entertainment
Disney Cruise Line's signature attraction at sea — the AquaMouse — has an all-new storyline. During "Sing a Silly Song," you'll join Mickey and Minnie Mouse on a trek to the peak of Villain Mountain. And what do you do when you come face-to-face with these fearsome villains? Sing a silly song, of course! Sing and splash along as familiar villains such as the Queen of Hearts, Scar and even Chernabog from "Fantasia" find themselves in some downright silly situations.
Even the littlest cruisers can splash and play at the splash zone, wading pool and family waterslide! Adults can find their own pool at Quiet Cove, with its own poolside bar and cafe.

At the Walt Disney Theater, enjoy Broadway-style shows, including "Frozen, A Musical Spectacular" and "Disney Seas the Adventure," an original Disney Cruise Line show where you'll find Captain Minnie, Goofy and more of your favorite characters.
And drumroll, please! The third stage show developed exclusively for the Disney Destiny is ... "Disney Hercules!" (And the crowd goes wild!) The show stays true to the animated film, but has a modern take while incorporating a pop and gospel soundtrack, including a new song titled "Shooting Star."
If you loved the Muses in the original film, you're in luck, as they continue to be storytellers in the show. Immersive projections are also featured.
The new stage show includes giant puppets, evolved from the designs in "Disney The Tale of Moana" on the Disney Treasure. Tying into the ship’s "heroes and villains" theme, these puppets bring the mythological multi-headed Hydra to life as Hercules takes on legendary challenges during his journey.
Pirate's Rockin' Parlay Parrty (say that five times fast) is the nighttime spectacular featuring a live rock band and even fireworks at sea. Yarrr!
One of the Frog Fam's favorite areas, Hero Zone, is available on Disney Destiny. This "Incredibles"-themed obstacle course makes for a fun family competition!
Get ready for some wicked encounters on the Disney Destiny! The ship will introduce all-new ways to interact with iconic Disney villains and they're more fabulous (and mischievous) than ever.
In the Grand Hall, passengers can experience the "Sounds of Wakanda." This musical celebration will feature a group of traveling percussionists whose rousing rhythms are inspired by the stories, legends and culture of the Black Panther's home.
Additionally, guests might come across Zayah and Gamble — two traveling storytellers whose enchanted trunks react to the powerful energy and magic of classic Disney villains. The mystical duo host a variety of immersive experiences throughout each voyage, such as "With Great Power: A Marvel Comedy Show," an adult-only sketch comedy show that will invite guests on an interactive journey through some of the most iconic moments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe using hysterically low-budget props, homemade sound effects and visual gags to tell their stories.

Cruella de Vil takes center stage in not one but two entertainment experiences. Fashion lovers can walk her "wretched runway" as she delivers live commentary — dramatic praise or brutally honest critiques. She may even stir up a little musical mayhem when she hears her infamous song, "Cruella de Vil" at De Vil's Piano Lounge.
You might also run into Dr. Facilier in his secret parlor, ready to dazzle with sleight of hand, clever tricks and games of chance. And Maleficent holds court at the Saga lounge, serving up sorcery and a special meet and greet in the Grand Hall.

There's fun for the whole fam aboard the Disney Destiny. Let's take a look at some of the kids' areas!
Oceaneer Club (Ages 3 to 10 years)
Kids ages 3 to 10 can enter the worlds of their favorite Disney, Marvel and Star Wars stories.
It's a Small World Nursery (Ages 6 months to 3 years)
This nursery, inspired by the beloved Disney attraction of the same name, offers babysitting services for an additional fee.
Older cruisers can also find areas just for them! At Edge, tweens from 11 to 14 can play games and meet new friends in a colorful space inspired by a New York City loft. And teens ages 14 to 17 can hang out at Vibe, with special activities created with them in mind.
Saga
Look for architectural nods to Wakanda in this two-story, family entertainment hub by day, and adult-exclusive entertainment venue by night.
Disney Destiny Adults-Only Experiences
We said there's something for all age groups — and that includes those 18 and up aboard the Disney Destiny!
De Vil's
Wind down in style at De Vil's, a piano lounge that's red, white and spotted for its namesake, Cruella de Vil. Enjoy a cocktail or martini, and watch out for the villain herself to make a cameo in this adult-exclusive lounge.
Cask and Cannon
Drink up me hearties, yo ho! Inspired by the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, head into this watering hole to see live televised sporting events and enjoy (what else) rum! You'll find an extensive menu of rare, specialty and vintage rums and bootlegged brews served straight from the barrel.
A must-try is the Dead Man's Chest. It's a special beverage experience for two (and yes, served in a chest with gold coins!), made with Zacapa 23 Solera rum, pineapple, lime juice, agave nectar and coconut froth
The Sanctum
Drawing inspiration from Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum, this centrally located lounge is filled with mystical artifacts and sorcerer-worthy details. You’ll spot familiar symbols from Rune Shields, the Cloak of Levitation and even spell books from the library of Kamar-Taj.
By day and night, the space transforms into an entertainment parlor with activities for guests of all ages, plus there's a magical drink menu. Specialty beverages include:
- Mirror Dimension — Made with Stoli Elit vodka, lychee, lemon juice, pink peppercorn, Eletricdust Buzz Rock and served in a glass that reacts to touch! Wha??
- Circle of the Cosmos – Made with Brunswick Aces Diamonds Gin, verjus blanc and lemon juice, garnished with a lemon peel spiral.
- Vapors of Valtorr – A combo of Grey Goose Altius vodka, ginger beer, lime juice and butterfly pea flower syrup, topped with berry-flavored bubbles.
There are even some mystical bites on the menu — stuffed waffles filled with either custard cream or mixed berry compote filling.
Beware of hitchhiking ghosts ... or go have a pint with them! Happy haunts materialize in this parlor, first debuting aboard the Disney Treasure. Sample a selection of spirits (get it?) and cocktails that help tell the story of this spooky attraction in all of its forms around the world.
The popular drink on the Disney Treasure, the Chilling Challenge, will be available here, but with new ingredients. The Disney Destiny version is made with Camus VSOP cognac, Cointreau Noir, Joto Yuzu sake, orange blossom foam and edible flowers.
Palo Steakhouse and Enchante restaurants are also on the Disney Destiny for adults to enjoy at an additional cost, as well as The Rose lounge.
Disney Destiny Dining
Disney Cruise Line food is one of our very favorite parts of taking a Disney Cruise, not only because it's delicious, but also because of the incredible Rotational Dining system. You'll find each restaurant has its own theming, special touches — and even a full show! Take a look at some of the dining options on the Disney Destiny.
Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King
Step into a savanna-inspired venue, where it quite literally comes to life using lighting, special effects and a back wall that will showcase sunrises and sunsets as you enter the tale of "The Lion King." As you dine, live musicians and storytellers take the stage and present a musical journey through the iconic soundtrack, including "Circle of Life," "Hakuna Matata" and even "He Lives in You" from the sequel film and Broadway show.
Hosted by Rocket and Groot of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" films, at Worlds of Marvel, you'll join a tribute to the many Super Heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Of course, Groot has his own idea of a hero and soon plans a surprise for Rocket, just in time for dessert.
Named after the year the Walt Disney Company was founded, this dining venue celebrates the legacy of Disney animation in a setting inspired by Hollywood glamour, complete with drawings, props and more from the Disney vault. To join in the ship's theming, keep an eye out for villains and heroes from "Hercules," "Sleeping Beauty" "Big Hero 6" and more.
Edna A La Mode Sweets
It's ice cream, darling! Edna Mode's lab has been turned into a marvelous sweet shop, with handmade gelato, ice cream, cookies and candies. You’ll find fashion sketches, costume models of Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl and even a fun photo op with a sculpture of Edna and Jack-Jack baking cookies. Keep an eye out for Rocky the raccoon trying to sneak a treat!
The menu is filled with tasty treats, including:
- Character-themed cupcakes such as Violet's Purple Velvet, Mr. Incredible's Double Chocolate Fudge, Edna's Red Vanilla Marble and Elastigirl's Orange-Almond with raspberry mousse.
- Shortbread Cookies with dulce de leche filling and vanilla frosting.
- Chocolate Bark Postcards inspired by Edna and Jack-Jack, featuring layers of white, dark or milk chocolate mixed with cookies and treats
- Three-Layer Cookies 'n Cream Cookie.
- An "incredible" selection of gelato, popsicles and handmade candies, plus the fan-favorite Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums available every day.
Cafes
Disney Destiny has two walk-up cafes: Cafe Megara and Cafe Merida, each with special nods to these heroines' films (okkk, lightning bolts and will-o'-the-wisps).
