Whether you consider the Grinch more of a Who or a What, it's undeniable that Dr. Seuss' infamous green grouch has become a viral sensation. Eating onions, doing yoga and just being a general menace to society, the Grinch makes all of our hearts grow three sizes every who-liday season. Thankfully, there are plenty of places frogs can find the fraudulent Santa — and even his trusty steed, Max — from November to December! Keep reading to check out all the places you can see or meet the Grinch at Universal Orlando Resort.

The Grinch at Universal - Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular

The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular

No trip to Seuss Landing during the holidays is complete without a stop in Whoville! A treasured Christmas tradition, The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular is a live retelling of the classic tale featuring music recorded by Mannheim Steamroller. The festive Whos are counting down the days until Christmas — wrapping up their presents and trimming up their trees. However, one Who-hating Grinch with a heart two sizes too small plans to do everything he can to stop Christmas from coming. The best part? Max is played by an adorable doggo!!!

The musical is approximately 30 minutes long and plays eight different times throughout the day, from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The entrance is right in between Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-Pendous and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Be sure to get in line at least half an hour prior to showtime as the theater fills up quickly!

The Grinch Meet & Greet at Honk Honkers

The Grinch at Universal - Honk Honkers

Luckily, you don't have to climb all the way to the top of Mount Crumpit to get some face-time with the Grinch. Step inside Honk Honkers (right next to Snookers & Snookers Sweet Candy Cookers) and meet the social media star himself! Universal utilizes a standby queue for this fan-favorite meet-and-greet, so be prepared to wait in line. While we've seen wait times as high as three hours and 20 minutes, we've also see it go down to 75 minutes.

We recommend waiting until the line is only in front of Honk Honkers. If you see the line continuing near Moose Juice, Goose Juice, wait until later in the day when that section has disappeared. We promise, the interaction is worth every moment! While you're toadally allowed to grab photos and video on your own camera, professional Universal photos of your time with the Grinch are available to purchase upon exiting Honk Honkers. (Be sure to turn off your flash! It's dark in his lair and the Grinch has sensitive eyes.)

The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast

The Grinch at Universal - Character Breakfast

You didn't think Honk Honkers was the only place you could meet the Grinch, did you? Start your day with Martha May's Chicken and Waffles or The Grinch's Green Eggs and Ham at The Grinch and Friends Character Breakfast. This delicious sit-down meal — back at Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous — is a great way to meet the meanest, greenest villain in town without having to brave the lengthy queue at Honk Honkers! Simply take the card you're given at the end of your meal and hop in the line just outside the restaurant anytime before breakfast ends.

Your breakfast — accompanied by the festive carols of Whoville's finest — includes tasty pastries for the table, such as Grinch Cookies, one plated entrée, such as Cindy-Lou Who's Belgian Waffles or Lou Lou Who's Breakfast Sandwich and one nonalcoholic beverage, such as juice or coffee. Reservations are required and must be made up to 24 hours before arrival. The price does not include admission to Universal Islands of Adventure. Your daytime admission ticket and your Character Breakfast ticket must be valid for the same calendar day.

Universal's Holiday Tour

Lastly, if you really want to splurge on your grinchy meet-and-greet for a VIP experience, you can book Universal's Holiday Tour. This 2-park, 1-day tour includes reserved seating for the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, a private meet-and-greet with Santa, priority access to one pre-selected attraction, an after-hours showing of The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle, light bites, desserts and more and, best of all, exclusive meet-and-greets with the Grinch and his faithful dog, Max!

Theme park admission isn't included in the listed price, but reservations and separate park admission are required. Additionally, your park-to-park admission and Universal's Holiday Tour ticket must be valid for the same calendar day. The tour is subject to availability and elements are subject to change without notice.
