Disney Wonder Cruise - Disney Wonder docked at port

When it comes to Disney Cruise Line, each ship has its own ribbeting charm, but a Disney Wonder cruise is filled with exclusive experiences you won’t find anywhere else! We’ll hop through some of the Wonder’s best highlights, including the French Quarter Lounge and the "Frozen"-themed itinerary. Plus, we’ll dive into some splashtacular fun with the AquaLab water playground, explore the nighttime entertainment of After Hours and indulge at Palo’s adult-exclusive dining. Of course, no Disney Wonder cruise is complete without plenty of character meet-and-greets and unique itineraries that make this ship truly stand out.

Welcome Aboard the Disney Wonder Cruise Ship

The Disney Wonder delivers one hoppin’ good time on the high seas. This ship first set sail in 1999 as the second ship in the Magic class, sister to the Disney Magic. Measuring approximately 964 feet in length and weighing around 83,000 gross tons, the Disney Wonder accommodates approximately 2,700 guests and over 950 crew members.

While all Disney Cruise ships brim with magic pixie dust, the Disney Wonder features a few leaping exclusives you won’t find anywhere else.

1. Tiana's Place Restaurant

Exclusive to the Disney Wonder, Tiana’s Place delivers with live jazz music and the best Cajun and Creole flavors this side of the bayou! Inspired by "The Princess and the Frog," this dinner experience features a Mardi Gras-style celebration and a special visit from Princess Tiana herself (you might even meet Louis!). You’ll be croakin’ with delight! Triton's and Animator's Palate are the other two Rotational Dining restaurants onboard.

Let the good times roll! Designed after "The Princess and the Frog," this family-friendly lounge hosts live entertainment, a menu filled with themed drinks and an atmosphere straight out of the Big Easy. Enjoy live jazz music, interactive games and pre- or post-dinner cocktails. The French Quarter Lounge is located on Deck 3, right next door to Tiana's Place restaurant.

3. "Frozen, A Musical Spectacular"

Hop into your seat and watch the magic of Arendelle unfold before your eyes in "Frozen, A Musical Spectacular." This Broadway-style show is one of three performances shown in the Walt Disney Theatre and features dazzling costumes, stunning special effects and all the hit songs you just can't stop singing. It's sure to melt even the iciest of hearts! The puppetry, lights and immersive stagecraft rival any show on land and make this a must-see for fans of all ages.

4. Day of "Frozen" Fun on Select Sailings

On select Disney Wonder sailings, guests can chill out with an entire day of "Frozen" Fun! This special itinerary transforms the ship into a floating Arendelle with character encounters, themed activities, wintry treats and a "Frozen" deck party starring Anna, Elsa and Olaf. Even the dining menus get a frosty twist, and snowfall in the atrium adds a touch of Arendelle charm at sea.

5. AquaLab and Twist 'n' Spout Waterslide

Enjoy some splashtastic fun up on Deck 9 at the AquaLab! This 1,800-square-foot water play area features a wacky mix of pop jets, geysers, leaky pipes, spinning wheels and Donald’s Boiler — a wild contraption that just might blow its top and drench everyone nearby. The tadpoles can cool off while getting soaked with interactive water experiments or splash under raining showerheads and pouring paint cans. For kids seeking thrills, the double-looping Twist ‘n’ Spout slide offers a ribbeting ride to remember. Right nearby, Dory’s Reef invites toddlers to explore fountains, bubblers and sea-themed fun.

Guests can meet the Heeler sisters, follow a clue‑filled game, then bust a move at a high‑energy dance party featuring Bluey’s signature floss!

7. After Hours Adult Entertainment District

Whether you're dancing along to a piano tune or belting out your favorite Disney song, this adults-only area will keep your flippers flapping long into the night!

8. Palo — Adult-Exclusive Dining

And don't even get us started on the famous Palo brunch — it's a must-try for every foodie frog out there! From handmade pastas to chocolate soufflé, every bite will have you leaping for joy!

9. Special Character Meet & Greets

From Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy in their adorable Alaska-themed outfits, the Disney Wonder bursts with character encounters! You'll find spontaneous and scheduled meet-and-greets throughout the ship, and can book a reservation for the Royal Gathering princess meet-and-greet session in advance.
