What's New for Upcoming Disney Cruise Line Sailings in 2026 and Beyond?
Disney Cruise Line has unveiled its itineraries for all of 2026, and into early 2027. While this may seem a way out on the horizon, for any first-timer cruisers with Disney Cruise Line, know that many folks plan years out for their big cruise, especially since you can book for only a 10% deposit and make installments before you set sail, making it a convenient and flexible way to lock in your vacation.
There are so many incredible destinations to explore aboard Disney Cruise Line — from the beautiful shores of the Bahamas and the Caribbean with stops at Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, to the historic Yucatan Peninsula and the stunning Pacific Coast.
But the sailings giving me major FOMO are the ones that include the Panama Canal, New Zealand and the South Pacific. Ummm, hello! And if you were worried, fear not. Halloween on the High Seas and the Very Merrytime cruises will be in full swing during the 2026 holiday season.
Launched in December 2024, Disney Treasure has been sailing the Caribbean seas. You've got to check her out — the details on this ship are mind-blowing! The Disney Treasure will continue with 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral — perfect for those craving a Disney by land and sea vacation.
And just debuting in November 2025, the Disney Cruise Line's newest adventure — the Disney Destiny has joined the fleet! This third Wish Class ship sets sail with a unique twist on Disney heroes and villains. From Marvel's "Black Panther" to the first-ever "Lion King"-themed dining experience, you'll find epic stories brought to life. Sailing from Port Everglades, the Disney Destiny's inaugural season offers four and five-night itineraries to either The Bahamas or Western Caribbean, including stops at one or both of Disney's island destinations — Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
The Disney Adventure is making its grand debut in March 2026, with its inaugural sailing from Singapore. As Disney Cruise Line’s first ship based in Asia, it will offer magical "at sea" cruises with Disney's signature storytelling, world-class entertainment and immersive dining.
There are also some exciting updates coming in summer 2026. The fleet will be setting sail from ports around the world, with Florida still a top spot for year-round cruises from Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale.
Big changes are on the way, especially for the Disney Magic. For the first time, it’s heading to Alaska for the summer! After a two-week Panama Canal cruise from San Diego, the Magic will kick off its Alaska season on April 19, 2026, joining the Disney Wonder up north. Some itineraries will even stop at Ward Cove in Ketchikan, a newer docking area. Meanwhile, the Disney Dream is heading back to Europe, the Disney Adventure stays put in Singapore, and the Disney Destiny is expanding its Fort Lauderdale sailings. Also in 2026, Marvel Day at Sea will return, but this time on the Disney Magic out of Galveston, TX, starting in January 2026 on select four- and five-night sailings to the Western Caribbean. Pixar Day at Sea is also coming BACK on select five-night Disney Fantasy cruises from Port Canaveral!
Most recently, Disney Cruise Line announced all of the details for the fall 2026 and spring 2027 seasons. Ships will sail from ports around the world, with year-round cruises continuing from Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale. Fall 2026 will also bring back Halloween on the High Seas and Very MerryTime holiday sailings.
The Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Fantasy will homeport in Port Canaveral, while the Disney Destiny will stay in Fort Lauderdale. The Disney Dream will sail from San Juan to the Southern Caribbean and also return to Fort Lauderdale. The Disney Wonder will no longer return to Australia and will instead sail from San Diego. The Disney Magic will also spend time in San Diego before moving to Galveston.
