Here are all the ribbiting details for the 2026 3-Day CA Resident Park Hopper Ticket offer. While this ticket is no longer on sale for the 2026 season, we'll be sure to update when it returns! In the meantime, we'll leave all of the 2026 season information intact for easy reference. This is one deal that is worth hoppin' on when it's available!
Ticket Price
One ticket is valid for adults or children ages 3 and up. When buying directly through Disney, the 3-Day CA Resident Park Hopper Ticket offer runs $83 per day ($249 total). If buying through Undercover Tourist, the 3-Day CA Resident Park Hopper Ticket costs $241.50 total. That's just about $80 per day for a Park Hopper ticket!
With the addition of Lightning Lane Multi Pass, the ticket costs $336.50 total. That's $112 per day with park hopping and Lightning Lane Multi Pass. (BTW, that's only $31 per day for the added Lightning Lane, which is a great deal for that service, which normally runs $34-40!)
For comparison's sake, using Disney's prices, a 1-day Park Hopper ticket on a Tier 6 holiday or busy Saturday could cost as much as $314 per person per day. So this offer is a screamin' deal, saving you up to $233 per day from Undercover Tourist (and saving $700 if you were to visit on three different Tier 6 days)! This deal is also cheaper than the Tier 0 cheapest days to visit Disneyland!
On-Sale Date
The ticket went on sale as of Dec. 3, 2025. You can purchase directly through Disney or through authorized sellers such as Undercover Tourist. Tickets go off sale a few weeks before the expiration date, so purchase these limited-time tickets early and get those park reservations booked! Likewise, locking in your tickets early ensures you get them before they go off sale.
Valid Dates
The tickets are valid on any three days from Jan. 1 through May 21, 2026. You do not have to use them consecutively, but you can if you want to. This is what sets this ticket apart from other multi-day tickets. And it makes it much easier for locals to use over a longer period of time (and for Northern California residents to use all in one trip for a great price). There are no blockout dates in this usage period.
If you are visiting after that date with kids ages 3-9, definitely look into the Kids Summer Ticket Offer.
Reservations
You need to make park reservations for each visit. Reservations are subject to availability. We recommend booking as early as possible for the best date selection. Many days will fill up. This is the current availability calendar for the California Resident ticket. It can differ from other ticket availability, so be sure to select the correct tab.
California ID Required
Yes, this offer is truly for California residents only. No, you can't buy for your out-of-state friends and family. Every adult needs to show a California ID. Cast members do check and are strict at the gates. If you don't have a California ID, they'll send you back to the ticket booths to buy a different ticket. Kids under 18 are the exception, since most children do not have an official ID, but tadpoles can come in with their adults.
A Summer Kids Ticket (not just for CA residents)
There's another amazing deal on the way after this ticket ends. In summer 2026, kids 3-9 (no matter where they live) can visit Disneyland for just $50 per day with a Park Hopper ticket. That is a hoppin' deal, especially if you are coming from out of state and aren't eligible for the SoCal Resident ticket. That ticket went on sale Jan. 21, 2026, and is valid May 22 through Sept. 7, 2026. It's available for 1, 2, and 3-day Park Hopper options. Read all about it in our Kids Summer Ticket post.
What's New for the California Resident Ticket in 2026?
There are a few frogciting changes for the Disneyland California Resident ticket from 2025!
It's for ALL California Residents
First of all, Disney expanded this ticket from a more limited Southern California ticket to a full California resident ticket, meaning it doesn't matter where you live in California. You can buy this ticket! You do need to show a government-issued CA photo ID. It's valid for zip codes 90000-96199. Proof of eligible residency, including a valid government-issued photo ID, is required for both purchase and admission. Baja California residents are not eligible for the California resident ticket unless they also have a qualifying California zip code.
It's a Park Hopper
It's a Park Hopper ticket. In the past, you could add park hopping abilities to the California resident ticket for an additional fee, but in 2026, it's included with the low ticket price. For normal 3-day tickets, park hopping costs an additional $110! So this is a huge added value in 2026.
We love park hopping at Disneyland. With the two parks just steps away from each other, you can really hop back and forth in a minute or two. If you use Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can access the Lightning Lanes in both parks, increasing your value of the pass.

When reserving, you'll need to pick a starting park. After 11 a.m., you can enter either park. If you arrive after 11 a.m., you can enter either park.
70th Anniversary Hoppenings
With the 70th Anniversary going on, you'll want to access all the fun entertainment. Park hopping increases your ability to do that. Most of the 70th entertainment that took a break for Halloween or Holiday Time is back in January 2026. The 70th Anniversary is expected to end Aug. 9, 2026.
It's Available to Use Starting Jan. 1, 2026
You can use this ticket as early as New Year's Day! That means you can enjoy the last week of Holiday Time at Disneyland with all the holiday decor, shows, characters in holiday outfits and yummy foods.
You Can Add Lightning Lane Multi Pass
If you want to add Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can do that when you purchase. Buying the service with your ticket locks in the lowest rate and guarantees you'll have it, even if it sells out the day you visit. If you opt not to add it on when purchasing the ticket, you can usually purchase it once you enter a theme park. However, it is subject to price increases and selling out in the park. We do see it sell out before park opening during school breaks and holidays.
Why Purchase the Disneyland CA Resident Ticket from Undercover Tourist?
We have several reasons to purchase your Disneyland California resident ticket from Undercover Tourist.
Save Money
Undercover Tourist sells all multi-day Disneyland tickets at a discount every day of the year (and for all buyers). But whenever Disneyland has a sale or promo tickets, Undercover Tourist can also sell those tickets for a deeper discount!
For this specific California Resident ticket, you can save up to $293 per ticket ($300 with Lightning Lane Multi Pass) when purchasing through Undercover Tourist.
Undercover Tourist Tickets Are Authorized Disney Tickets
We are a ticket-selling partner of Disney. That means that Undercover Tourist tickets are identical to Disneyland tickets ... except our tickets have a few bonus benefits, besides saving money! We always say, "Same tickets for less, no catch." And it's true! Our tickets are the same as the ones you'd buy from Disney directly. The only difference is you have some extra churro money in your pockets and possibly a discount Disney gift card in your wallet when you buy from Undercover Tourist (thanks to the Dining Dollars promo codes).
Refundable Tickets
All unused Undercover Tourist Disney (and many other) tickets are covered by our 365-day refund policy. Tickets purchased directly through Disney are not refundable. So if your plans could change, you can buy from your froggy friends with peace of mind.
Free Dining Dollars Promo Credits
One of the newer perks to purchasing any Disney tickets from Undercover Tourist is that every ticket comes with FREE $20 Dining Dollars promo credits. You can use those promo credits at DiningDollars.com. Apply them to save 15% on Disney gift cards or to save even more on restaurant gift cards for restaurants near Disney or even close to home. Our Dining Dollars post breaks it all down. If you opt for Disney gift cards, you can use them for souvenirs or food on your visit!
You Don't Have to Make Your Reservations Immediately
Let's say you want to purchase this ticket but aren't sure of your dates yet. Or maybe you want to give it as a gift to someone for Christmas or Hanukkah, and they'll want to pick their own dates. When you purchase through Undercover Tourist, you can link your tickets and wait until you know when you want to visit to reserve. (When you buy through Disney, you have to choose the dates before purchase, but they are also modifiable.)
That being said, we do highly recommend booking as soon as you know when you want to visit. You can always modify your park reservations if you need to change days. But the earlier you book, the better availability you'll see. As the expiration date approaches in May, all the dates start to get booked up as these promo ticket holders try to make their last reservations. Book early! If you are new to the Disneyland reservation system, our Disneyland park reservations post will guide you through it.
Tips for Using the 3-Day CA Resident Promo Ticket
Winter and spring are such a great time of year to visit Disneyland! Cool temperatures bring what we call "spirit jersey weather," aka those comfortable days that are cool enough that you can leave on long sleeves, but you may need a sweater at night.
Then there are the pink tabebuia trees in bloom at any time from February to April. It makes visiting in the late winter and early spring the most beautiful time of year in both parks.
There are some special considerations around choosing your days, so you can experience what's most important to you.
Special Events and Celebrations
Disneyland is a great time any day of the year. But there's always something new to experience. There are so many festivals and celebrations hoppening in early 2026. Here are a few official Disneyland events that you can take advantage of with this ticket in 2026. Spread your visits out if you live locally so you can experience as many as possible. If you can't decide, you just might need TWO California resident tickets! But some of these festivals and events overlap.
- Last week of Holiday Time and Festival of Holidays: Jan. 1-7
- Black History Month with gospel singers on select Saturdays in February
- Lunar New Year: Jan. 23 to Feb. 22
- runDisney races in late January and early February
- Anaheim Ducks Day: Feb. 22
- Bluey comes to Disneyland starting March 22, 2026, and stays through summer
- Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival: March 6 through April 27
- Disneyland 70th: Ongoing throughout the length of this ticket, with much of the entertainment returning in January and running through Aug. 9.
If you want our advice, we say, wrap up the holiday season in the first week of January. Come back for Lunar New Year, and then hit Food and Wine when it overlaps with Season of the Force. And make sure you have a Friday, Saturday or Sunday in the mix so you can see fireworks and other weekend entertainment. That's a pretty good Disney run right there with a variety of experiences!
Watch Out for After Dark Events and Grad Nites
This California resident ticket is good during normal park hours, but not for separately ticketed events such as Disneyland After Dark. In fact, on these dates, Disneyland Park closes at 8 p.m., so you'll want to look at the park hours when you book your days.
Grad Nites can close Disney California an hour early and sometimes bring extra crowds in both parks as the day goes on. Most of the festivities take place in Disney California Adventure after the park closes. Grad Nites fall on:
- May 8, 12, 13, 15, 17, 20, 21, 28, 29 and 31, 2026
- June 3, 5, 7, 10 and 12, 2026
Book Weekends, Holidays and School Breaks Early
Popular days to visit hoppen when there are school breaks and holiday weekends. If you want to visit at one of those times, reserve early. These promo tickets come with their own pool of availability. Check the availability calendar to make sure the dates you want are available before purchasing.
Plan Around Park Entertainment and Hours
Full entertainment usually takes place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. That means fireworks take place on the weekend days, but Monday through Thursday may have projection shows without the fireworks. Fantasmic! may not have shows Monday through Thursday except during holidays or school breaks. Always consult the Disneyland schedule up to six weeks in advance to see what's hoppening when you want to visit. (Entertainment times are always subject to change at any time.)
Choose the Best Times to Visit
Even though it's always a good time at Disneyland, some days may be better than others, based on what's important to you. Are you looking for the lowest crowds? Our Crowd Calendar can help. Want to enjoy full entertainment? Hop over to our Disneyland events post, and consider visiting on at least one Friday through Sunday.
Check the Refurbishments Schedule
You want to visit when your favorite rides are open. At times in January, Haunted Mansion or "it's a small world" will close to take down the holiday overlay. Every winter, Grizzly River Run undergoes a seasonal refurbishment. Our Disneyland refurbishments and ride closures post will keep you in the know.
On the other hand, during the Food and Wine Festival, we get treated to Soarin' Over California and all the good scents that come with that version of the ride.
Book a Hotel Stay
You can also get a hoppin' deal on a Disneyland hotel stay through Undercover Tourist (including Club Level rooms and DVC rooms at the Disneyland Hotel). One of the best benefits of staying on-site is gaining access to better theme park reservation availability, in addition to being close to the action and getting a free Lightning Lane attraction during your stay. There's nothing like a Disney staycation for California residents on such a winter's day!
Are you ready for a great winter and spring at Disneyland with the Disneyland California resident ticket? Save even more when you purchase through Undercover Tourist and get free $20 Dining Dollars promo credits and peace of mind with our 365-day refund policy.
