We may not talk about Bruno, but we do talk about everything "Encanto" at Disney World! This movie took the world by storm in 2021, and continues to be widely popular with tadpoles and frogs alike! With visually beautiful scenes, magical themes, relatable characters and, of course, catchy songs, it's definitely a frog favorite film.
Like with the popularity of "Frozen", we've created a separate guide on how you too can celebrate the "Encanto" film at Disney World. With Mirabel in a Magic Kingdom cavalcade, new topiaries at EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival and even magical Encanto makeovers at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, there are lots of exciting offerings debuting at the parks. Plus, Mirabel will have her own meet-and-greet debuting later this year!
With it still being a newer movie, the film's presence at Disney World is a bit smaller than older films, but there is still lots to enjoy for "Encanto" fans.
Where to Find "Encanto" Characters at Disney World
1. See Mirabel at Magic Kingdom
Did you know you can catch Mirabel at Magic Kingdom? While she does not have a meet-and-greet, you won't want to miss her in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade! The mini parade occurs multiple times a day featuring nearly 30 Disney characters. It journeys from Frontierland to Liberty Square, past the castle and down Main Street, U.S.A. Mirabel is often found atop the main float so you can give her a wave!
Coming this fall, Mirabel will have her own meet-and-greet! She will greet guests in the Fairytale Garden in Magic Kingdom, where Merida currently meets, in a transformed area with decor inspired by the film.

It's time to grow rows and rows of roses this year at EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, as "Encanto" character topiaries make their grand debut! The green displays of Mirabel, Isabela, Luisa and Antonio welcome guests near the park entrance. This year's festival runs from March 1 to July 5, so there's plenty of time to practice perfect poses with these magical topiaries.
3. Dine at a Festival Booth at EPCOT
Over at EPCOT, you can enjoy cuisine from around the world, including offerings inspired by the film. In the spring during EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, you'll definitely want to try the Vibrante & Vivido: Encanto Cocina booth featuring authentic Columbian food and drink, located between France and Morocco. We enjoyed the Chorizo and Potato Empanada and Coconut and Passion Fruit Smoothie. This year's festival ran from Jan. 13 to Feb. 20, 2023, though the booth often returns each year, so you can look forward to it each January! Throughout the year, EPCOT offers lots of worldly cuisine from Mexico and Brazil as well.
4. Enjoy a Magical Makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Recently added, young tadpoles ages 3 to 12 can now choose the Encanto Package as an option at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Your prince or princess can receive the same royal treatment as Cinderella with a magical makeover in an equally magical setting. Located at Magic Kingdom, there are several royal packages at different price points, including the new Disney Encanto Package. Starting at $179.95 plus tax, the package includes hairstyling, shimmering makeup, a princess sash and bag, nail polish, a Mirabel or Isabela dress and coordinating accessories.
5. Purchase Themed Merchandise
Enjoy some keepsakes at home with "Encanto"-inspired merchandise! Select merchandise from the film is available online at ShopDisney, as well as gift shops throughout Disney World. Enjoy toys, apparel, ears, Loungefly bags and more. Most selections can be found at the flagship stores at each park and World of Disney at Disney Springs.
6. Participate in a Themed runDisney Race
Conquer the surface pressure by running in a runDisney race! Held during EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend consists of a 5K, 10K and half marathon. Each race's medal, branding and even some characters stick to a particular theme. Recently announced, the theme of the 2023 half marathon is Encanto! We're excited to see which rare characters will appear throughout the course. Check out our step-by-step guide to runDisney races to learn more!
7. Dress Up Like the Madrigal Family
With so many vibrant characters in "Encanto," it can be extra magical to dress up like the Madrigal family. It makes for an awesome group costume at special events such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, where people of all ages can wear costumes.
Even during regular visits, children under 14 may dress in costume at any time so little Mirabels, Isabelas and Brunos are encouraged! Those 14 and older may incorporate DisneyBounding as a way to showcase the Encanto family. This means dressing like a character using regular clothes by incorporating their color scheme or style. It's a fun way to embody a favorite character without wearing a full costume.
8. Keep an Eye Out for Other "Encanto" Appearances
Over at Hollywood Studios, you can catch movie scene projections during Fantasmic and Wonderful World of Animation. Keep an eye out for magical transportation with the "Encanto" themed Disney bus. For hotels, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort celebrates a blend of Spanish, Mexican and Southwest American cultures. Plus, "Encanto" is always a possible Movies Under the Stars at all Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
We hope that we continue to see more and more "Encanto" representation at Disney World! Who would you be the most excited to see?
