Awash in tones of serene teal and calming purple and adorned with over 140,000 colorful tiles that change color depending on the angle you view them, Universal Stella Nova Resort is the first of two sister hotels adjacent to Epic Universe. Universal Stella Nova Resort Rooms
Stella Nova Resort is home to 750 315-square-foot guest rooms, which feature sleek curves and subtle colors. Tasteful flooring and rich hues of blue and purple inspire thoughts of sailing through the stars. Enjoy epic views from your room's curved window and plenty of storage to keep your luggage efficiently stowed away.
Standard Rooms (which overlook the backside of Universal Epic Universe!) feature two queen beds, a flat-screen TV, a mini-refrigerator, a coffee maker, an iron, a hair dryer, a safe, free Wi-Fi and, of course, air conditioning. These rooms are smoke-free and comfortably sleep four frogs. The Pool View Standard Room offers all the same exceptional amenities, PLUS an incredible view of the hotel's beautiful pool. Both of these room types are available to book through Undercover Tourist!
Bathrooms either have a walk-in shower or a shower/bathtub combo, so if you need a bathtub, be sure to request a room that has one when booking your stay. One feature we have to point out is the footrests in the walk-in showers. Talk about a game-changer!
You can also book one of several different types of accessible rooms. Mobility Accessible Standard Rooms are available with either an ADA tub (also available with a Pool View) or a roll-in shower and feature a handheld shower, toilet with grab bars and doors with 36-inch wide openings. Hearing Accessible Standard Rooms are equipped with a visual alarm and doorbell, a flashing light on the phone and an outlet near the phone for TTY access.
Transportation at Universal Stella Nova Resort
Universal Stella Nova Resort offers complimentary shuttle bus transportation to the hub at Universal CityWalk for access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure. An additional dedicated bus route connects to Universal Volcano Bay.
For those of you driving, overnight guest self-parking is $30 plus tax per night, per vehicle. Day guest self-parking rates depend on length of visit:
- Under 30 minutes — complimentary
- 30 minutes or more — $65 plus tax per day, per vehicle

Amenities, Recreation and Shopping at Universal Stella Nova Resort
Like every hotel currently at Universal Orlando, Stella Nova Resort is equipped with the resort's signature amenities. Splash in the hotel's 10,000 square-foot resort-style pool which features a hot tub, kids' splash pad area, walk-up bar, walk-up food service area, lounge and tabletop seating areas, outdoor games, outdoor firepit with surrounding seating and poolside movies — the perfect way to end a long day in the theme parks.
Let off some steam in the hotel's 648-square-foot self-serve game room, which has game cards for purchase and offers a variety of standard arcade and video games. Need to keep up a workout routine? Hop into the hotel's complimentary fitness center, which features upscale cardiovascular and weight equipment, such as treadmills, bicycles (upright and recumbent), an elliptical machine, variable resistance weight machines, a stretching area and free weights. Locker rooms with showers are available for use on arrival and departure days.

What to Consider Before Staying at Universal Stella Nova Resort
Be aware that Universal Stella Nova Resort is not near the Universal CityWalk area (where the three existing parks are) and is next door to the ongoing construction at Epic Universe. (Don't worry! It's far enough away that you won't hear anything. And obviously, as the construction wraps up, this won't even be an issue.) That means that by booking a standard (non-pool view) room, you can see the likes of Universal Helios Grand Hotel, Mine-Cart Madness, Stardust Racers, Mead Hall, the Chronos tower and so much more RIGHT from your window!
However, even if you aren't in one of these rooms, driving onto the Epic Universe property for the first time as you make your way to the hotel is a mind-blowing experience in and of itself. As of May 22, 2025, Epic Universe is open! Be sure to save on tickets to this thrilling new theme park through Undercover Tourist!
