A Disney cruise is a vacation experience that includes delicious dining experiences. With the launch of the Disney Wish, the cruise line introduced the new Triton Class of ships, and one of the standout features is the amazing Rotational Dining options. Among these is 1923, a restaurant that takes guests back in time to the Golden Age of Hollywood. This restaurant is also found on the Disney Treasure and the upcoming Disney Destiny. In this post, we’ll explore the details of 1923, from the theming inside to the incredible food. Let's hop to it!

Rotational Dining Overview
One of the coolest things about dining on a Disney cruise is something called Rotational Dining. Each ship has three different main dining rooms, and you’ll "rotate" to a new one each night of your cruise. Every restaurant has its own theme, design, menu and several restaurants even have special entertainment.
What makes this even better is that the same serving team comes along with you. So even though you're in a new restaurant, you’ll have the same friendly faces taking care of you each night. They’ll remember your name, drink order, how you like your steak and even your kids’ favorite dessert.
The 1923 restaurant is located on the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and the upcoming Disney Destiny. For a three-night cruise, you’ll dine in a different restaurant each evening. On longer cruises, your dining schedule repeats, but with new menus and different entertainment (if available). If you're sailing on the Disney Treasure or Disney Destiny, you might dine at 1923 twice, but on the second night, you'll have a different menu. We've included both menus below.
1923 Restaurant Theming and Atmosphere
Named after the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, 1923 reflects the Golden Age of Hollywood and Disney's animation history. Located on Deck 3, right off the Grand Hall, the restaurant is divided into two different dining rooms: the "Walt Disney" room and the "Roy Disney" room. Each dining room has its own entrance and the side you're assigned to will be listed in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
1923 is designed to evoke the classic Hollywood style of the 1920s. You’ll see lots of Disney artifacts and displays that highlight the history and evolution of Disney animation. Even the plates are unique, with gold accents and the 1923 logo.
The Disney Wish Versus the Disney Treasure
The walls of 1923 are lined with over 1,000 pieces of Disney animation history, including original sketches, storyboards and props from Disney films.
While the overall experience at 1923 is similar on both the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, the artwork you’ll see depends on the ship.
On the Disney Wish, the displays focus on Disney’s animation history, featuring art from classics such as "Snow White" through "Frozen 2." You’ll spot concept art from "Beauty and the Beast," "Peter Pan" and even props from "Frozen 2."
On the Treasure, the theme leans more into how Disney brings animation to life. You’ll see artwork and storyboards from the movies "The Lion King," "Tarzan" and more.
We'll be sure to hop back and update this post once we see what 1923 looks like on the Disney Destiny, sailing in November 2025!
Is there a difference between the Walt and Roy sides of 1923 Restaurant?
1923 is split into two dining rooms: Walt's dining room and Roy’s dining room, named after Walt and Roy Disney. Both rooms have the same layout and menu, but the decor in each one tells a different story.
If you’re curious to see the other space, check to see if it’s open for breakfast or lunch — you might get the chance to enjoy a meal in both!
