Overview of the Disney Treasure Cruise Ship
Let's start off with some fun stats! The Disney Treasure ship was built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. She is a beaut at 1,119 feet long, 128 feet wide, and weighs a whopping 144,000 gross tons. There are 1,238 staterooms onboard, and the ship can accommodate up to 4,000 passengers.
What is the Disney Treasure and how does it differ from other Disney Cruise Line ships?
All shiny and new, the Disney Treasure is Disney Cruise Line’s latest ship. It is the second ship in the Triton Class, sister to the Disney Wish and the forthcoming Disney Destiny. The ship's overall theme is adventure and exploration — different spaces and venues, such as the Haunted Mansion Parlor, Skipper Society and the Periscope Pub, fold into the storytelling. In our opinion, this ship feels most like a Disney theme park in terms of theming.
Disney Treasure Ports of Call
Where will the Disney Treasure sail?
The Disney Treasure offers seven-night itineraries to either the Eastern or Western Caribbean. The ports of call include Cozumel, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Jamaica and Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. The Disney Treasure does not have any scheduled stops at Disney Lookout Cay at this time.

Disney Treasure Dining
Which dining options or Rotational Dining restaurants are on the Disney Treasure ship?
Like all the other ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, there are three Rotational Dining restaurants.
- Plaza De Coco: A theatrical dining experience themed to the Pixar film, "Coco." Guests will visit the restaurant at least twice during their seven-night sailing. Each night has a unique menu and entertainment.
- Worlds of Marvel: Guests will also visit this restaurant twice. One night will feature "Avengers: Quantum Encounter" with Ant-Man, Captain America and Spider-Man. The second night features a brand-new show, "Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix." You'll hear an "awesome mix" of hit songs and participate in Marvel-themed trivia while you dine.
- 1923: A sophisticated restaurant right off the Grand Hall. Named for the year the Walt Disney Company got its start, you'll find lots of Disney history and theming throughout. Delicious California-inspired dishes including lobster, roasted chicken and a Riesling Risotto are a few of the menu options.
On the upper decks, there's the ship's buffet, Marceline Market. It is open for breakfast and lunch daily. Located midship on the pool deck is where you'll find Mickey's Festival of Foods which includes five quick-service windows:
- Mickey's Smokestack Barbecue
- Daisy's Pizza Pies
- Goofy's Grill
- Minnie's Delights
- Donald's Cantina
Got a sweet tooth? Head to the "Zootopia"-themed Jumbeaux's Sweets. The shop offers over 35 flavors of gelato, ice cream, sorbets and specialty treats.
Two walk-up cafes, the Jade Cricket Cafe (deck five) and HeiHei Cafe (deck six) are located next to the Grand Hall. Both cafes serve up specialty coffee, fresh juices and cocktails.
There are two adult-exclusive restaurants onboard: Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement. The Rose is an upscale lounge at the entrance of Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté.
Additionally, several of the bars and lounge areas such as Cove Cafe and Periscope Pub serve treats and small bites.
Complimentary room service is available 24 hours a day (gratuities are not included).
Entertainment and Onboard Fun
What entertainment options are available on the Disney Treasure ship, including shows and activities?
This is a hard one to answer in a short Q&A format. The Disney Treasure is packed full of exciting events from sun up to midnight! You will never get bored because there is so much to see and do. Here are some of our our top must-dos.
Everyone will enjoy the nightly Broadway-style shows at the Walt Disney Theatre. "Disney The Tale of Moana" is the new production that brings Moana's adventures to life. You don't want to miss the giant Te Kā puppet or Gramma Tala's spirit in manta ray form as it soars around the theatre. The Frog Family had the opportunity to enjoy this during a preview sailing. It literally took our breath away! "Disney Seas the Adventure" and "Beauty and the Beast" are also shown.
During the day, head to Sarabi. You'll find lots of family fun and entertainment hoppenin' at various times. At night, the venue hosts adult-exclusive events such as Villains Trivia, Silent Disco and the Sarabi Supper Club featuring "Choose Wisely! An Indiana Jones Comedy Adventure." This one is a fan favorite!
Be sure to catch the Sail Away Party on embarkation day and the Pirate's Rockin' Parlay Party complete with fireworks on Pirate Night.
And for you adventurous types, take a spin on the AquaMouse, Disney Cruise Line's first-ever attraction at sea. There's a new storyline available on the Disney Treasure titled, "Curse of the Golden Egg." This short rotates between two other short films. We saw a sign posted right outside of the AquaMouse that listed which short film was playing each day.
Which character meet and greets are available on the Disney Treasure?
