Disney Cruise Frozen Night Overview
The Frozen event is offered exclusively on select Alaska sailings on the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic. For 2026 Alaska itineraries, Frozen Night is expected on most sailings aboard both the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic. It typically takes place on Day three of the cruise, often aligning with scenic cruising near the Stikine Icecap. While entertainment schedules are always subject to change, early 2026 sailings indicate this Frozen celebration replaces Pirate Night on Alaska routes. Guests should confirm final schedules in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard.
The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder are the first two ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, and are smaller Disney Cruise ships with a capacity of around 2,700 guests.

The Disney Wonder is one of our favorite ships because its itineraries include cruises to Alaska, the Pacific coast, Hawaii, Baja California and even Australia. Likewise, the Disney Magic sails in Alaska seasonally and offers a similar mid-sized layout that works beautifully for scenic cruising. The Art Deco design of the Magic and Art Nouveau style of the Wonder create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
We appreciate the mid-sized layout of these ships, making it easy to get around, but there are still plenty of activities for everyone. The dining options are frogtastic with three table-service restaurants that are a part of the Rotational Dining system. On the Wonder, you'll find Tiana's Place, Animator's Palate and Triton's. On the Magic, there's Rapunzel's Royal Table, Animator's Palate and Lumiere's. From the character meet-and-greets to Broadway-style shows, there's always something hoppenin' on board.

The Disney Cruise Frozen Deck Party
The main "Frozen" event aboard the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic is the Frozen Deck Party, aptly named "For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration." The full show is about 17 minutes in length and takes place on the top deck.
The party features Elsa, Anna and Olaf. Guests can dance, sing along and participate in games throughout the show. The stage is decorated with snowflakes and winter-themed decorations. The ship’s crew also dresses in costumes that match the "Frozen" theme.
The party kicks off with the crew getting guests warmed up with some "Frozen"-inspired dance moves and the arrival of Anna and Kristoff. Sven joins through the large screen on the top deck and together with the crew members, Anna and Kristoff lead guests in a round of "Sven Says" which is similar to Simon Says. Next up, everyone takes part in the "Frozen" version of the hokey pokey, aptly named the Reindeer Pokey. This one is a big hit with the tadpoles.
Next up, Olaf makes his grand entrance! Known for his love of summer and warm hugs, Olaf brings his signature humor to the stage. He leads the crowd through a sing-along of "In Summer." After the sing-along, Olaf and the crew members kick off a dance party with guests to a variety of Disney and party songs. It's impossible not to smile as Olaf wiggles and waves at the crowd. After all of the dancing, Olaf starts to melt, but luckily Anna and Kristoff show up to help just in time!
The highlight comes when Queen Elsa steps onto the stage. With a wave of her hand and a swirl of ice magic, she "freezes" the entire deck. The area is filled with sparkling "snow" and she leads the audience in a rendition of "Let It Go." It's almost surreal to sing along to this iconic song under the open sky, with snowflakes falling all around.
Disney Cruise "Frozen"-Themed Dining

At your "Frozen"-themed dinner on the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic, you’ll enjoy a menu full of dishes inspired by the movie and Scandinavian flavors. On Frozen Night, this themed menu replaces the standard Rotational Dining menu for the evening. The menu includes appetizers such as Duke of Weselton's Favorites, which features meats, cheeses, Knäckebröd, pumpernickel and pickles. Elsa's Coronation Scallops, baked with shrimp, cognac and tarragon cream sauce under a flaky pastry, were delicious!
After your appetizer, you'll choose a soup or a salad. Andersen's Baby Field Greens, mixed with vanilla, apricots, brioche croutons, candied walnuts and lingonberry dressing, or Sven's Carrot Soup, made with caraway and cream, are some of our favorites.
For your main course, try dishes such as Anna's Honey-Mustard-Marinated Salmon or Kristoff's Rosemary-Marinated Strip Loin. Vegetarian and allergy-friendly options include Pabbi's Stuffed Cabbage Roulades and Bulda's Vegetable Turnover.
We can't froget about dessert! Elsa's Chocolate and Raspberry Tart and Oaken's Warm Apple Pudding Cake are the perfect sweet finish. Menus are subject to seasonal updates and may vary slightly by sailing year and ship.
Dining Tip for the Adults: If you plan to dine at Palo, consider booking it for a different evening so you don't miss this special Frozen-themed menu.

More Frozen Night Tips
Here are our top Frozen Night tips:

- Plan Ahead: Frozen Night is one of the most popular events on the Disney Wonder and Magic. Check your Disney Cruise Navigator app for the schedule and make sure to arrive early to grab a good spot for the deck party. This is especially important because the show only happens once per cruise. Based on past years, Frozen Night is likely to be scheduled for the third day of the cruise.
- Dress Up: While not mandatory, dressing up in "Frozen"-themed attire can make the experience even more magical. Whether it’s a simple Elsa T-shirt or a full Anna gown, getting into the spirit of the evening adds to the fun. Even the adults can get in on the fun!
- Stay Warm: Alaska can be chilly, even in the summer and especially in the evening when the deck party takes place. Be sure to bring a warm jacket, hat or even a blanket so you can enjoy the event without getting too cold. Visit our Disney Cruise packing list and Alaska packing list for more packing tips.
- Join the Fun: Don’t be shy! The deck party is all about participation, so sing along, dance and get involved. This is your chance to let loose and channel your inner Elsa or Olaf. The crew members do a fantastic job of encouraging guests to join in the fun, and the more enthusiastic the crowd, the more magical the night becomes.
- Special Note on Weather: In the event of heavy rain, snow or unsafe deck conditions, the Frozen Deck Party may be modified or relocated indoors.
