Your Guide to Ghoulishly Good Disneyland Halloween Time Treats

by Mommy Frog on August 23, 2022 11 Los Angeles

You frog fans know one of the things we love most about the fall festivals and events is the yummy eats. There are spooky treats and mouth-watering eats (including Halloween-themed caramel apples!) that will have you racing to Disneyland Resort faster than you can say "pumpkin spice." Ready to be tempted and terrified with the limited-time tasty snacks and monstrous morsels available at the theme parks, hotels and Downtown Disney? Read on for the full scoop on the sweetest Disneyland Halloween Time treats.

Ghoulishly Good Disneyland Halloween Time Treats for 2022

Let's take a look at the yummy treats found all over the Disneyland Resort, starting with the handmade sweets in the candy shops. They are almost too cute to eat. Almost. We did some damage already, but we've saved some room to try more treats throughout the Halloween season at Disneyland. We cannot wait to taste more new offerings!

Disneyland Halloween Time Treats at the Candy Shops

Proceed with caution and sharpen your sweet tooth (or fangs), because so many handmade candies and sweet treats are available in Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park and Downtown Disney beginning Sept. 2, 2022. Hi Diane!

We do have a blog post about eating gluten-free at Disneyland Resort! It's not specifically for Halloween treats, but more of a general guide of year-round offerings.

Do you know if you can buy the poison apple glow cube at Downtown Disney or are they only inside the parks? Thanks!

We got a $20 "Oogie Boogie bash meal voucher" with each ticket. It says that it has a max value of $20 but not much else in terms of instruction. Do you know how this works? Can you use it for any food (except alcohol)? Can it be used on another day (not during the Oogie Boogie bash)?

Hi Ray!

We have not seen those so we can't say for sure, but the dining cards we received with A Touch of Disney were good for any food or nonalcoholic drink and were also good for after the event (it could be similar to those vouchers). If these were for a cast member preview by any chance, then they could be more limited in use. We'd just suggest confirming once you're there!

So to get the glow cubes, do you shop the home products area at the shops? Or do you have to order an alcoholic drink to get them? How do you get the two colors you mentioned?

Hi Al!

The glow cubes are at various locations through the resorts. You can purchase the purple poison apple at many restaurants with or without a drink (Red Rose Taverne sells them without a beverage). The 4 pack is from Carthay Circle (with purchase of a drink), and the glow dice come with certain drinks at Hollywood Lounge.
