Go City Multi-Attraction Passes are multi-attraction passes for specific regions. You can buy them at a discount and use them to visit multiple attractions, zoos, theme parks, tours and more in a city and the surrounding areas. It's one way to save time and money while simplifying the travel experience. Your ticket to everything is in one place. Let's say you are visiting New York City. You can use your Go City Multi-Attraction Pass to visit a ton of tourist attractions and tours, including museums, the Empire State Building (and other viewpoints), Statue of Liberty tours or cruises, The Beast speedboat rides, ice skating at Rockefeller Center (seasonal), Central Park electric scooter rentals, bar lounges and rooftops tours, bike rentals, Big Bus tours, Coney Island, escape rooms, food tours, botanical gardens and so much more. You can even use it to take a day trip to visit LEGOLAND. If you have a pass that automatically includes everything, it's so easy to say yes to trying it all. Plus, you skip the ticket lines and set your travel budget before you arrive. No need to keep pulling out that wallet because your fun is included in your pass.

For most attractions, you just show up and scan your pass. For a few of the attractions, you do need to reserve in the app. But those are noted clearly in the app.

Does it make financial sense and save time over purchasing attractions and tours individually? If you are someone who will really take advantage of the pass and use it, then yes, you can save big with the pass.

For other destinations with theme parks, you might find better savings on tickets when you purchase through Undercover Tourist.

Each destination may offer different levels of the pass. Some of the options include the greater area outside the city. For instance, you can explore outside the theme parks in Orlando. That means going to Gatorland, on an airboat tour or even seeing the Orlando Magic play. With select Los Angeles passes, you can go on a boat tour out of Orange County and enjoy some San Diego attractions.

How to Buy a Go City Multi-Attraction Pass

Buying a GoCity Multi-Attraction Pass means researching and making decisions in advance so you can have an easy, seamless vacation. There are a few things to consider when buying a Go City Multi-Attraction Pass, especially when it comes to choosing the right pass for your trip. There are major differences even offered within the same city.

How many days do you need a Go City Multi-Attraction Pass for?

Look at how long your trip is and how many days you plan to use the Go City Multi-Attraction Pass to sightsee and visit the included attractions to determine how many days you need the pass for.

The days do not have to be consecutive. So let's say you buy a 3-day pass in Los Angeles. You can use those three days over a two-week period. The all-inclusive pass includes major attractions such as Knott's Berry Farm and the Warner Bros. Studio Tour. The All-Inclusive Plus Pass includes Universal Studios Hollywood and even a whale/dolphin watching tour out of Newport Beach.

How do you choose the best Go City Multi-Attraction Pass option?

It comes down to which attractions you want to visit and which pass includes those locations.

Explorer Pass: An Explorer Pass is based on the number of attractions you'd like to visit. It's cheaper but also more limited in use and is for lower-cost attractions (tours, museums and smaller museums). It's the way to go if you know exactly what you want to do and it's included on the pass. The selection may be more limited. This pass will make more financial sense if you plan to visit the more expensive items on the list. Once your pass is activated, you have 30 days to use the pass. You could buy larger discount theme park tickets directly from Undercover Tourist (including great savings for Universal Studios Hollywood tickets, Express Pass tickets or even VIP Tour tickets) and reserve this pass for the smaller attractions on your list.

All-Inclusive Pass: This pass is based on duration (a set number of days). You can visit as many of the attractions as you like over the set number of days. In Los Angeles, it would include slightly bigger attractions such as Knott's Berry Farm theme park and the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, but not Universal Studios. Once activated, you have 13 days to use your remaining days.

All-Inclusive Plus Pass: This includes all of the all-inclusive attractions, plus three high-value extras. For example, in Los Angeles, that would include the following LA and San Diego attractions: Universal Studios Hollywood, LEGOLAND and the San Diego Zoo. (Psst ... you can also log in to your Undercover Tourist account to unlock exclusive deals on LEGOLAND and the San Diego Zoo!) Once activated, you have 13 days to use your remaining days.

The Go City app has everything you need to know about a destination, as well as your ticket to enter.

Are Undercover Tourist Go City Multi-Attraction Passes refundable?

When you buy Go City Multi-Attraction Passes from Undercover Tourist, they are not refundable. You do have one year from purchase to activate them if you need to reschedule your trip. Other Undercover Tourist theme park tickets are often refundable, so if your plans might change, those might be the safer option for you. Be sure to check individual ticket details for more information on refund policies.

How to Use a Go City Multi-Attraction Pass

Your pass is immediately usable in the Go City app. Tickets are mobile-friendly. You can scan them right from the code on your phone. You can also download the PDF to your phone or print it to gain admittance to attractions.

Be sure to note when you have to use your pass by, as the activation dates and number of days to use the pass within can vary. Usually, you have a year from purchase to activate them. Go City Multi-Attraction Passes are not shareable. Each person needs their own pass.

The Go City Multi-Attraction Pass simplifies your travel experience. You have one ticket to worry about for everything. How many times do I buy museum entries and tours and have to hunt through my email and log into sites to find all the tickets? Instead of buying multiple tickets and keeping track of them, you just open the Go City app, and you are ready to go.

The app tells you how to redeem your pass for each attraction. It tells you where to go and lets you know if you need to book ahead of time.

Making Reservations

Most attractions require no reservations. However, a few attractions do require reservations or even same-day reservations. If an attraction requires a reservation, it will have a "booking required" stamp in the Go City app.

Is the Go City Multi-Attraction Pass Worth It?

It might be worth it if:

  • You will visit multiple attractions on the pass.
  • You want to simplify your trip by having everything in one place.
  • If your must-do items are included on the pass.
  • You want to squeeze in more than one attraction a day.
  • Your city has some food tours or dining experiences on the pass, as this can decrease your food budget.

It might not be worth it if:

  • You can get better deals for individual attractions or theme parks through Undercover Tourist.
  • You won't visit many of the attractions on the pass.
  • You move at a slower pace and won't do multiple attractions per day.
  • You don't want to use an app or phone to access tickets. (Our Grandma Frog is not up to speed on technology. She doesn't like to download apps and prefers printing out her paper tickets. She can print the Go City Multi-Attraction Pass PDF and use that instead of the app.)

Getting the Best Deal

There are a number of ways to save money on tickets for attractions. Go City Multi-Attraction Pass is one way to save money if the attractions you want to experience are all covered under the pass you purchase. Another way to save money — especially if you are only planning to do a few big-ticket items — is to purchase the tickets individually through Undercover Tourist.

Here's how to find the best savings:

  • Determine your must-do attractions in a destination.
  • Price them out.
  • Consider the price of purchasing the items individually from Undercover Tourist versus purchasing a Go City Multi-Attraction Pass.

That should help you determine your best savings or best Go City ticketing option.

Flexibility

Another factor to consider is whether your plans might change.

  • Go City Multi-Attraction Passes are non-refundable through Undercover Tourist. (They may be refundable when purchased directly from Go City, but will cost more.) You have one year to activate the Go City Multi-Attraction Pass after purchase (in case you need to reschedule your trip).
  • Select theme park/attraction tickets ARE refundable when you purchase them individually through Undercover Tourist. You can get peace of mind with a refundable ticket purchase, and that ultimately saves your wallet and sanity. You can view the refund policy of any ticket before you purchase through Undercover Tourist.
  • Some unused and unexpired tickets to Universal, Disney, SeaWorld and others are refundable only when purchased through Undercover Tourist.

Go City Multi-Attraction Pass Tips and Guidelines

Here are a few tips for choosing or using a Go City Multi-Attraction Pass:

  • Double-check if the pass is based on the number of days (and all inclusive) or based on the number of attractions.
  • Ensure your must-see attractions are included.
  • You need one pass for each person in your party.
  • Check to see when the pass expires and how many days you have to use it after your initial activation.
  • Days are based on calendar dates and not 24-hour periods. Each day ends at midnight. So if you activate an attraction at 5 p.m., Day 1 is almost over. The next morning would count as Day 2.
  • Note the hours of your pass. Some passes are valid during select hours of the day.
  • The Go City Multi-Attraction Pass is non-refundable.
  • Take note of when you must redeem your pass. Is it within 30 days or one year from the date of purchase?
  • Attraction inclusions are subject to change.
  • Purchase at least 24 hours in advance, earlier if several must-do destinations require reservations.
  • You'll receive direct entry to attractions on your mobile device.
  • Download the Go City app. It's full of hopful information about the destination, such as directions, where to check in, facilities, hours of operation, tips for visiting, accessibility and even FAQs.
  • Browse through the app to see which attractions require a reservation. Make those as early as possible for the best selection.
  • Bring a portable phone charger so you can stay powered up to access your app. Have more than one device to access the app in case of lost or broken phones.
  • Share your location in the app to see nearby attractions.
  • Research your destinations. Undercover Tourist has so many hopful blog posts on many of the included attractions or cities they are located in.
