Savannah Bananas Day Overview
The Savannah Bananas take over Disneyland Resort one day each year. After the first successful Savannah Bananas Day in 2025, the takeover extended to both parks in 2026. The reason this mashup (get it?) works so well is that Troy Bolton and "High School Musical" on Disney Channel taught us that you can play sports and sing and dance. The Savannah Bananas just took it to the next level by doing it all at the same time! And fans cannot get enough of musical theater-baseball meets circus-meets-gymnastics. The talent of these players is unreal. It's what hoppens with The Greatest Show in Sports comes to the "Happiest Place on Earth."
In 2026, the newest Banana Ball Championship League team, the Indianapolis Clowns, joined in on the fun. Player greetings hoppened in 2026 year as well!
There are 3.5 million people on a waitlist to buy tickets to see the Savannah Bananas play Banana Ball. But you can get a taste of the fun at Disneyland. All you need is a Disneyland ticket (or Magic Key) and a theme park reservation!

As mentioned above, this iswasthe second year that the Bananas have taken over Disneyland. In 2025, for its debut, the team dropped in during late May. We sure hope this becomes a tradition for years to come! If they keep hopping back, exact dates are likely subject to change due to the Bananas' season schedule, which can be different year after year. The Disneyland visit usually happens just before their Banana Ball series at Angel Stadium. (This year, they play the Indianapolis Clowns at Angel Stadium on March 27 and 28, 2026.) However, game tickets are sold out, and are in such high demand that you need to sign up for the waitlist (usually in November for the following year). This year, Banana Ball introduced its own fans-first ticket marketplace, so fans can resell tickets to other fans. That way, you might have slightly more luck for a second chance at tickets. If that stresses you out and you're unable to get game tickets, then this Disneyland day isn't a bad consolation prize!
Tips for Seeing the Cavalcades and Performances
People camp out early for these special-event cavalcades and shows, so be prepared to grab a spot early. Wear sunscreen, hats and even bring umbrellas for shade while you wait. Grab food and water or other drinks before you hop in place.
Savannah Bananas Disneyland Cavalcade
Pick a spot on the parade route to cheer on the Savannah Bananas as they shimmy, shake and strut their way through an unfrogettable cavalcade. It will come down the route starting near "it's a small world" at 12:30 p.m. You can grab a spot up to two hours in advance. Bring umbrellas for shade and fans to stay cool. Also make sur eyou have water to stay hydrated while you wait. It's not a bad idea to bring snacks.
We like the end of Main Street U.S.A. near Town Square for the celebratory streamers. The side near the Main Street Cinema and the very end with the straight-on view of the cavalcade may be blocked off for media.
Savannah Bananas Performances at Disneyland Resort
In 2026, you can catch Savannah Bananas performances in each park! You may need to get in place early to see the action.
Disneyland Park
Head to Sleeping Beauty Castle to catch the Savannah Bananas perform alongside Mickey Mouse and some of his friends. It took place at 10 a.m. in 2026. It is very hard to see here if you are not one of the few in the front row. We suggest seeing the performance in Disney California Adventure instead of the castle there is one in 2027. If you don't get front row, try standing on the curb at the back.
You cannot line up at Rope Drop, but you can sit on a curb and then cast members will move you forward once they are ready to set up. There are roped-off spots where you cannot stand, so cast members will let you know where you can and cannot go.
Disney California Adventure Park
Catch a performance in the World of Color Viewing Area at 1:30 p.m. The Bananas put on a split-tacular performance that will have both Disney and Banana Ball fans hopping with excitement. There are more levels and stage here. It is much easier to see compared to at the castle.
Player Meet and Greets
In 2026, you could meet select Bananas and Indianapolis Clowns players at the Hyperion Theater Courtyard in Disney California Adventure Park. Sign up in the virtual queue at 9 a.m., and greeting opportunities start at 2:15 p.m. A virtual queue confirmation and a wristband are required. These spots go in seconds. Hop over to our Disneyland virtual queues post for tips on joining. You need to move quickly.
On March 26, you can request to join the virtual queue in the Disneyland app. You must have a theme park reservation for Disney California Adventure with a one-day ticket or a Park Hopper ticket. You'll be assigned a boarding group when joining the queue. When your group is called, the app will send a push notification, and you need to scan your ticket or entry code to pick up your wristband. Return to the location once the greets start at 2:15 p.m for high fives and photos. Boarding groups will be extremely limited. Wristbands will only be distributed to guests who have obtained a virtual queue boarding group entry code.
Specific players have not been announced in advance. So, even if they're not part of the greets, you'll more than likely see Jackson Olson, KJ Jackson and Coach RAC and the rest of the team in the featured performances.
In 2025, there were characters meeting guests without a virtual queue in Frontierland, so keep an eye out for players in the parks in 2027.

From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., stop by Downtown Disney near the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage to get a-peeling Savannah Bananas merch, including shirts, hats, novelties and gift items for purchase. A Savannah Bananas Disney tee and collectible lapel pin will be available exclusively for this event, while supplies last. Plus, the DJ will play jams at the stage from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A Home Run Pop-Up Card is also available for purchase at Lovepop through March 31.
