Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Villas are a deluxe-level hotel accommodation available at Walt Disney World, Disneyland and even Disney's Aulani Resort & Spa. DVC Villas are perfect for large families and groups and combine comfort with Disney’s signature service. Here’s a look at the DVC Villas, who can book them, locations and some helpful things to consider as you plan your next Disney vacation.
What Are the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Villas?
Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Villas are resort accommodations located within Disney's Deluxe resorts. Some DVC resorts are stand-alone properties with their own special features — more on that below. These properties allow Disney Vacation Club members to book stays using vacation points. However, you don’t need to be a DVC member to stay at a villa! Anyone can reserve villas directly through Disney or by renting points. Better yet, you can save some green when you book with your favorite frogs here at Undercover Tourist! Yes! Undercover Tourist offers DVC villas in addition to all the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Ribbit!
Right now, you can save up to 35% off of select Walt Disney World Resort hotel stays through April 30, 2025! Plus, when you book a Walt Disney World vacation package and bundle your theme park tickets and hotel stay, you can get a FREE park hopper upgrade, for a limited time.
DVC Villas range from Studios to three-bedroom Grand Villas, and each is designed to feel like a "home away from home." Most units have fully equipped kitchens, living and dining spaces and washers and dryers. This Mommy Frog loves the convenience of being able to prepare meals in the kitchen and throw in a load of two of laundry right in our hotel room.
One of the biggest advantages of staying at a DVC Villa resort is the roomy spacious layouts. If you're traveling with a larger group, booking a DVC Villa can often be more affordable than reserving multiple rooms at a different resort.

Why Stay at a DVC Villa?
Staying at a DVC Villa at Walt Disney World comes with many perks that make these accommodations very desirable. Here’s a breakdown of why the DVC Villas stand out, along with the added advantages of staying at a Disney Resort.
Spacious Layouts and Home-Style Amenities
Just like we mentioned above, DVC Villas are designed to feel like a home away from home, complete with conveniences such as full kitchens and in-room laundry. This setup lets you prepare meals or do laundry during your stay, which can be especially helpful for longer vacations or families with young children. For larger groups, booking a DVC Villa may be more economical than reserving multiple rooms at another Disney resort.
Access to Disney Deluxe Resort Amenities
Many DVC Villas are located within Disney’s Deluxe Resorts, so you can access top-tier amenities such as themed pools, quick and table-service restaurants, lounges and even signature dining options.
Prime Locations with Convenient Park Access
Location is a major draw of the DVC Villas. Many of these resorts are in the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT resort areas, meaning they’re close to one or even two parks. You can easily get to the parks by walking, monorail, boat or Disney Skyliner. This proximity can be a huge time-saver, especially when traveling with the tadpoles and trying to fit as much magic into your trip as possible.
What Are the Benefits of Staying at a Walt Disney Resort Hotel?
In addition to the villa-specific perks, DVC Villa guests enjoy all the benefits of staying at a Disney World Resort. These include:
- Early Theme Park Entry: Access the parks 30 minutes before they open to other guests, helping you experience popular attractions with shorter wait times.
- Extended Evening Hours: On select nights, Deluxe Resort guests (including DVC Villa guests) can enjoy extra park hours at specific parks.
- Complimentary Transportation: Guests can use Disney’s extensive transportation system, including buses, monorails, boats and the Disney Skyliner, to travel between parks and resorts with ease.
- Complimentary Disney Water Park Admission: Starting in 2025, guests staying at a Walt Disney Resort can enjoy complimentary access to one of the two Disney water parks on their check-in day!
- Proximity to the Magic: Staying within Walt Disney World keeps you close to the magic, allowing you to easily return to your room for a break or recharge between adventures.
