Mischievous or just misunderstood? That's the theme of Hollywood Studios' newest stage show, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, now open as of May 27, 2025. Featuring Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent, you will be the one to answer: Which villain has been unfairly treated the most? Hop along as we experience this brand-new stage show! Frogs of all ages have been yearning for a bigger Disney villain presence in the parks. We can’t wait to see what spellbinding stories unfold on stage this summer!

All About Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After
The new stage show follows Maleficent, Captain Hook and Cruella de Vil as they present their cases to the audience to determine who's been the most unfairly treated. (I mean, we could certainly make a case for Captain Hook, right?)
Throughout the performance, these iconic villains make wisecracks and share their side of the story, letting you decide once and for all who's had it the worst. However, be careful about who you choose. These are villains after all.
The show features live performances, a new song from the Magic Mirror and a stunning set that Imagineers have been working on for the past two years! It officially opened on May 27, 2025. Mwahahaha!
Where Is Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After Located?
Find this musical stage show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After has taken residence in the former venue for Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy. This is the section to the right of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith (soon to be replaced by The Muppets!)
If this is your first time visiting Hollywood Studios, make the first right onto Sunset Boulevard after entering the park. Once on Sunset Boulevard, make a left into the area that houses Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and head to your right. You’ll be directed with signs to the entrance of the show.
Which Villains Are Part of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After?
The stage show centers on the stories of Captain Hook, Cruella de Vil and Maleficent. However, you may see other villains make brief appearances through the Magic Mirror or elsewhere on stage. These appearances are digital, rather than live performances.
As for who these villains will be, stay tuned! We will update this blog once we have more information.

Is Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After Too Scary for Kids?
Disney considers Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After to be appropriate for frogs of all ages. However, you know your tadpole best. If they typically get scared by Maleficent, you might want to pass on the show until they’re a bit older.
If you are concerned about lighting effects or other spooky scenery, we recommend talking to a cast member ahead of time. They can provide more details.
Speaking of details, this show features video captioning, assistive listening and handheld captioning for guests needing hearing or visual accommodations. Guests may also remain in their wheelchairs. Check out our overview of Disney World's Disability Access Service (DAS) for more info!
