While guests finish filing into the stadium to take their seats, the “director” will recruit audience members to participate in the show. Raise your hand, yell and scream; if you’re picked you’ll have a blast. This action-packed stunt show begins with Indiana Jones reenacting a scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark complete with the gigantic boulder “chasing” him on the set. What follows is a series of realistic fight scenes, explosions, acrobatics and pyrotechnics. It’s suspenseful, funny, and a Hollywood Studios classic.
Arrive at The Stunt Theater at least 30 minutes early unless the park is really quiet when 15-20 minutes should be plenty. Saving seats is not allowed, so make sure everyone in the group arrives together. Every row has a high enough rise to make all the seats good seats. It can take a while for everyone to exit when the show is over, so for the fastest exit sit toward the far right closer to the top.
It’s a covered stadium but it may get hot during the summer months particularly during midday shows. (Bring a bottle of water with you.) And since it may be an hour from the time you arrive until the show is over, use the restroom before you enter.
Leap and Tad LOVE this show! Leap was even selected from the audience to participate one time. (If you waved your arms and shouted as much as he did, you’d have been chosen too!) If the park is really crowded, we sit on one of the top rows on the right side of the theater. That way we can exit quickly and continue our Frog Family Tour. If not, our favorite seats are obviously center front.
The Stunt Theater which houses Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! is located near Echo Lake on the left side of the park (when facing the Sorcerer Hat). The show is about 30 minutes long; guests are permitted to enter the stadium about 30 minutes prior. It is performed several times each day; check the Times Guide when you enter the park for the current schedule.
The Stunt Theater has bench seating with no padding. Guests may remain in their wheelchair, motorized scooter or ECV to experience the attraction.
