Mickey Mouse stars as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice from Fantasia in this multi-media show complete with fireworks, lasers, lighting effects and music. The plot is simple (good vs. evil) and the experience is amazing. Mickey invokes the characters and spirit of such favorite Disney classics as Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Aladdin, Pinocchio, The Lion King, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Dumbo, Tarzan and more. But when the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs gathers such classic villains as Ursula, Cruella de Vil, Scar, Frollo, Jafar and a larger-than-life Maleficent to turn Mickey’s dreams into a nightmare, Mickey must use his power of imagination to save the day.

Even though the amphitheater is huge (it can hold nearly 10,000 guests), it’s a good idea to get in line 45 minutes before the show time. If there are two showings, the second one is always less crowded. The noise and special effects are frightening for very young children, but it’s appropriate for all ages. The first rows in the stadium will get a little wet.
Don’t miss this show! It was frightening for Tad and Lily when they were younger, but now it is a Frog Family favorite. We like the second showing since it’s less crowded, but it makes for a late night. We make sure we squeeze in a nap that day.
Fantasmic! is held in the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater located on Sunset Boulevard. This 25-minute show is usually performed two nights a week except during holidays and peak season when it’s held more frequently with two showings each night.
The Hollywood Hills Amphitheater has bench seating with no backs or padding. Guests may remain in their wheelchair, motorized scooter or ECV to experience the attraction.

The Hollywood Hills Amphitheater opens 90 minutes before show time for seating, and food is allowed inside.
The 1,500-seat theater is reminiscent of the Hollywood Bowl, a famed Los Angeles cultural landmark and one of the largest natural amphitheatres in the world.
"Fantasmic!" premiered at Disneyland® park in May 1992. This production, though similar, features original sequences.
Seating from the middle to rear of the theater offers excellent views without getting too close to the splashes and heat of the show's action. During the holidays and peak season, take advantage of the second showing of "Fantasmic!" It's typically easier to get a seat.
In the grand finale, 26 Disney characters cruise across the moat aboard a replica of the "Steamboat Willie" boat. At 80 feet long, it's larger than Christopher Columbus' Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria.
To create a surface on which animation can be projected, water screens pump 2,400 gallons of water into the air every minute - and if called upon, could fill the 500,000-gallon Earffel Tower in less than three hours.
For a "Fantasmic! Dining Experience," make priority seating arrangements at the Guest Information Board at Hollywood Junction or in person at one of the participating restaurants. After dinner, you'll receive a voucher for VIP show seating. Disney's Magical Moments pins are designed to interact with this attraction.
Fantasmic! includes over one million gallons of water and 50 costumed performers.
