This summer, be where the people are as The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure is officially open at Hollywood Studios as of May 27, 2025! A reimagining of the former Voyage of the Little Mermaid production, this new stage show features the classic "The Little Mermaid" songs you love, puppetry, visual effects and so much more! Grab your fins and come with us as we go under the sea!

What Is The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure?
The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure is a brand-new stage show at Hollywood Studios! Based on the 1989 film, “The Little Mermaid,” the show follows Ariel as she follows her dreams to become human and become part of that world!
It features live stage performers, including Ariel and Prince Eric, as well as under-the-sea favorites: Sebastian, Flounder, King Triton and Ursula. The show also now features Ariel's sisters — new to this reimagining of the old production!
Combining puppetry, live performances and digital imagery, The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure is sure to delight fans of the animated film!
Where to See The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure
The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure is in the same location as the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, in the Animation Courtyard at Hollywood Studios. You can’t miss it! After entering the park, look for the giant arch to the right of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway! The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure is right across from Disney Jr. Play & Dance and near Star Wars Launch Bay.
Details about the interior queue have not been released. However, we assume it will operate similarly to the old standby line, which has an outdoor queue before guests are let inside for the next showing.
And hey, while you’re in Hollywood Studios, be sure to swing by Walt Disney Presents to meet Ariel from the live-action film! Be sure to tell her all about your adventures! Check your My Disney Experience for wait times.
Will The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure Feature the Same Music as Voyage of the Little Mermaid?
Yes, it largely features the same songs — and even some brand-new ones! The following songs are confirmed:
- "Part of Your World"
- "Under the Sea"
- "Poor Unfortunate Souls"
- "Kiss the Girl"
- "Daughters of Triton"
Both "Daughters of Triton" and "Kiss the Girl" are exclusive to this new performance, as they weren’t part of the former show.
How Long Will The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure Be?
The performance is just under 30 minutes! So, we recommend stopping by the bathroom before heading inside and finding your seats.
Will The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure Have Lightning Lane?
As of publication, The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure is not listed under available Lightning Lane experiences at Hollywood Studios. But it will eventually be added, as there is signage for a Lightning Lane queue, which says "Coming soon!"
That being said, other stage shows, including For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration and Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, have Lighting Lane options. With Multi Pass, you can schedule arrival times for multiple attractions in the park. For shows, you get guaranteed access (in case a show fills to capacity) and potential for better seating.
Will The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure Be Available for Early Entry into Hollywood Studios?
Early Theme Park Entry is a perk exclusive to on-site Disney World hotel guests. With it, guests can enter one of the four theme parks 30 minutes before the official park opening. While most rides and attractions are available for Early Theme Park Entry, stage shows are usually excluded as they have their own schedules throughout the day.
So, if you’re wondering if The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure will be available for Early Theme Park Entry, the answer is no. Showtimes take place on a continuous schedule from 9:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
