Frog Overview
Journey under the sea on a giant clamshell inside this musical attraction based on the animated Disney film "The Little Mermaid." You'll start your adventure inside Prince Eric's castle and journey to the sea to become part of your favorite mermaid, Ariel, and her sea friends' world. Your clamshell will then emerge from the sea and take you through more famous moments from this Disney classic tale, like Prince Eric and Ariel's rowboat scene! Sing along on Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid with some of Disney's most beloved characters like Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder and King Triton. Watch out for Ursula, though-- she towers over you at 7.5 feet tall and 12 feet wide!
Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid is an indoor omnimover ride system, similar to the Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid. The attraction is located in Fantasyland® Area of Magic Kingdom® Park. The duration of the ride is about 7 minutes. A giant clamshell moving on a track transports guests through different scenes filled with Audio-Animatronics, video effects and a 3-D set the size of a small theater.
Guests must transfer from their motorized scooter or ECV to an available wheelchair, then to the ride vehicle. Audio Description devices provide supplemental audio for guests with visual disabilities and are available at Guest Relations. Handheld Captioning devices, which display text segments, are also available at Guest Relations.
