Frog Overview
Dolphin Nursery is home to new dolphin mothers and their calves. The nursery is one of the most popular attractions at the park and gives guests the rare opportunity to catch a glimpse of new dolphin mothers and their calves. We haven’t been lucky enough to see a mom and baby yet at Dolphin Nursery, but the reviews are so great, we stop by every time we’re there just in case.
Dolphin Nursery is an outdoor animal exhibit at SeaWorld® Orlando.

Frog Family Tips and Fun Facts about Dolphin Nursery
Frog Family Tips
- Drop by after you enter the park to see if the area is roped off. (SeaWorld closes this area if a mom is in labor or has just given birth.) Since guests can never be sure if there will be a baby dolphin to see, it’s best to treat Dolphin Nursery as a “might-do."
Fun Facts
- Baby dolphins are called calves.
- Dolphins communicate with one another through clicking and the use of other vocal sounds.
