The right hotel can easily put the hop back into your step, so you can rest, recharge and then get ready to have more fun! Since we frogs have stayed all over Orlando, we're leaping into a new series that looks at our favorite Orlando hotels in some of the most popular areas. Why Choose a Hotel Near Epcot?
We frogs highly recommend staying on-site at the Disney World resort hotels, especially if it's a first-time visit. The official Walt Disney World hotels offer some great benefits, including the ability to book FastPass+ reservations up to 60 days in advance, the Extra Magic Hours benefit and more.
Staying at a hotel near Epcot offers boundless benefits, especially if Epcot is a priority stop on your vacation. If you’re planning on spending a lot of time in the park where culture and technology collide, then we definitely think you should consider staying nearby. This is doubly true if you are making a trip specifically for an Epcot event such as the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Epcot International Festival of the Holidays or another special event.
The Epcot hotels offers easy transportation, a dedicated entrance for those hotel guests around Disney's Boardwalk Entertainment Area, and plenty of dining options and family fun. Boardwalk area-hotel guests can walk to the park or take a boat! The Epcot hotels, especially those around Disney's Boardwalk, are also pretty close to Disney's Hollywood Studios, and you can walk or take a boat to it! There is also ample dining, as you can hop among the hotels and the offerings along the Boardwalk. With Epcot also being on the monorail, if you start your day at Epcot and have Park Hoppers, you can take the monorail to Magic Kingdom. No matter if you’re staying a week or a weekend, you’ll enjoy being steps away from Epcot.
