Where to Find Thanksgiving Dinner (Or a Turkey Leg) at Walt Disney World

Inside This Post Inside This Post

What better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than with a turkey dinner at Disney World? Our frog squad has so much to be thankful for this year. We've had so many ribbiting adventures in the parks and we truly enjoy sharing our Disney tips with all of you. Thank you, frog friends! Thanksgiving is pretty low-key at Disney, and the parks will already be decking the halls for the holidays. However, this doesn't mean you can't savor a delicious Thanksgiving feast at Disney World, as well as enjoy themed treats!

Where to Find Thanksgiving Dinner at Disney World 2024

While only a handful of restaurants have reservations still available for Thanksgiving dinner at Disney World, there are often more options for lunch. If you can't snag an Advance Dining Reservation, don't fret! Keep trying in the days leading up to your visit, especially in the two or three days leading up to Thanksgiving Day. Cancellations do happen! Even if they don't, you can check for a restaurant's walk-up availability using the My Disney Experience app. My Disney Experience is also where you can place a Mobile Order at select quick-service restaurants. And remember: To dine at a table-service restaurant inside of a theme park, you need both valid park admission and a Disney Park Pass reservation (if needed) for the same park, on the same day. To dine at a resort hotel restaurant, you'll need to show your reservation to park at the resort.

Below is a list of restaurants serving up special Thanksgiving-style deliciousness, as well as some restaurants with regular menus perfect for a froggy family dinner. We also listed any special seasonal items offered only during Thanksgiving! You can also check My Disney Experience when you go to book a reservation, as Thanksgiving offerings will be listed on the menu if a restaurant is offering any. Enough jabbering. Let's talk turkey!

Thanksgiving Dinner at Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom will surely be a very popular park on Thanksgiving Day, so you'll want to plan ahead. Note: There aren't any specific dinners or items confirmed for 2024, but these are a few restaurants where you could find Thanksgiving-esque food on their regular menus! Expect Liberty Tree Tavern to be the most popular.

  • Cinderella's Royal Table — Dine inside the castle with this magical character dining experience (learn more in our froggy review).
  • The Crystal Palace — Grab American classics from the buffet and enjoy visits from Winnie the Pooh and friends (learn more in our froggy review).
  • Liberty Tree Tavern — Enjoy an all-American, family-style dinner, with both a traditional (turkey, pot roast, mashed potatoes, stuffing and toffee cake) and a plant-based feast (Impossible Meatloaf, salad and warm apple cake).
  • The Diamond Horseshoe — Currently serves food from the Liberty Tree Tavern's menu.
  • The Plaza Restaurant— Dig into a deli-style lunch or dinner with sandwiches, burgers, homestyle plates and desserts galore!

Thanksgiving Dinner at EPCOT

Garden Grill Restaurant

A visit to The American Adventure Pavilion and the rest of World Showcase is a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving, plus frog favorites such as the Garden Grill character dining (pictured above). Here are some table-service restaurants that would be perfect for Thanksgiving dinner at Disney World 2024:

Quick-service restaurants such as Sunshine Seasons or Connections Eatery may offer specialty options on Thanksgiving Day. Be sure to try holiday dishes from around the world with EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, running Nov. 29 to Dec. 30, 2024. Stop by the American Holiday Table for slow-roasted turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and cranberry sauce. Near Canada, the Refreshment Port has Turkey Poutine (sweet potato fries with turkey gravy, cranberry relish and crispy onions).

Thanksgiving Dinner at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Where to Find Thanksgiving Dinner at Disney World - Turkey from Minnie's Seasonal Dine at Hollywood and Vine

Enjoy some classic homestyle meals or even food out-of-this-galaxy at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Here are some sit-down restaurant options for Thanksgiving:

  • The Hollywood Brown Derby — Enjoy quality dishes at this high-class establishment.
  • Hollywood & Vine — Partake in a full buffet and enjoy visits from Mickey and friends in their holiday best (learn more in our froggy review).
  • 50's Prime Time Cafe — Enjoy homestyle cooking (without the hassle of making it yourself!) with great options such as meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans or pot roast with gravy, potatoes and vegetables.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a wonderful place to celebrate all of the amazing people and animals in our lives. Quick-service restaurants such as Restaurantosaurus or Satu’li Canteen may offer specialty Thanksgiving options.

  • Tiffins — Taste unique dishes from around the world at this upscale restaurant.
  • Tusker House Restaurant — Savor a hearty buffet while enjoying visits from Mickey and friends in their safari outfits (learn more in our froggy review).

Thanksgiving Dinner at Disney Springs Restaurants

Thanksgiving dinner Disney World — Holiday turkey sandwich from Earl of Sandwich

  • Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant — Butter and herb roast turkey, mashed potatoes, duck fat roasties, honey glazed carrots, bacon braised Brussels sprouts, sausage meat stuffing, red wine jus, with cranberry sauce
  • Summer House on the Lake — For its first Thanksgiving, the new restaurant will offer a 3-course prix fixe menu with harvest salad or roasted honeynut squash soup, a roast turkey dinner or maple glazed Faroe Island salmon and pumpkin chiffon pie or chocolate cake.
  • Terralina Crafted Italian — Rosemary roasted turkey with applewood smoked bacon and granny smith apple dressing, yukon gold mash, roasted asparagus with a sage and thyme gravy and homemade cranberry relish, paired with Crown Apple Cider

Thanksgiving Dinner at Disney World Resort Hotel Restaurants

Most Walt Disney World Resort hotels may have special offerings available on Thanksgiving Day only. In the past, many resort quick-service restaurants would offer a variation of oven-roasted turkey, mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, cornbread stuffing, seasonal vegetables and cranberry relish. This has not been confirmed for Thanksgiving dinner Disney World 2024, but day-of options may become available.

Over at Whispering Canyon at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, a special prix fixe holiday meal will be available for lunch and dinner (available from noon to 10 p.m. on Nov. 28 only). Enjoy a Thanksgiving skillet featuring oak-smoked turkey, barbecue and more, plus a seasonal dessert sampler.

Hi Tatty!

We haven't heard anything just yet, but keep hopping back, as we'll update as soon as we hear more! We will say that the restaurant in Magic Kingdom that most reminds us of the traditional Thanksgiving fare is Liberty Tree Tavern, which you can make a dining reservation for 60 days in advance of your visit :)

Hi Keiny,

It looks like most of the restaurants only serve Thanksgiving dinner on actual Thanksgiving Day. You can, however, grab a turkey leg on any day!

Hi Michael!

We gave Disney Dining a call, and there either isn't a special menu listed just yet, or they won't offer it this year. We've got our eyes and ears open for any changes!

I was wondering if you could tell me where to find the Thanksgiving day menu for Trattoria Al Forno? Everywhere I look only gives the typical Italian menu. It was the only place we were able to reserve this close to the holiday, and it said it was having Thanksgiving dinner but no information on exactly what that is.

Hi Vanessa,

It's tricky finding Thanksgiving menus! Have you tried calling? You can expect traditional Thanksgiving dinner options with the restaurant's own twist.

Hi Jessica,

It looks like Tony's Town Square Restaurant will not be serving a Thanksgiving menu this year. We've updated this post with 2016's options. Keep trying for reservations leading up to your visit; one just might open up! If you aren't able to snag an advanced reservation, always try the day of to see if there is any walk-up availability.

Hi Britt,

Disney doesn't typically release this information until the fall. We think Whispering Canyon Cafe is a more fun, lively choice for Thanksgiving (or anytime!), but it really depends on you and what your family enjoys.

Hi Cheryl,

They will be offering a traditional menu with roasted turkey, green beans, cornbread stuffing and truffled potatoes. Their is no price listed for the Thanksgiving menu, but the regular cost of dining ranges from $30-$59.99 per person.

Hi Renee,

Fort Wilderness has a couple of great options right there. There is a special version of Mickey's Backyard BBQ called Mickey's Backyard Thanksgiving Feast that could be a lot of fun for families and a variety of age groups. Trail's End Restaurant is also at Fort Wilderness and has a delicious buffet as well.

My other pick would be Raglan Road if it's an adult crowd. They usually serve a Thanksgiving special for $28/pp and it's always a good time with live music and dancers, and a fantastic bar.
