Magic Kingdom FastPass+ Attractions and Entertainment Options

by Leap on October 1, 2020 19 Orlando

A note from Leap: As of Oct. 19, 2021, the FastPass+ service at Walt Disney World has been replaced with the Disney Genie+ system. For an additional cost, guests can bypass the standby line and utilize the reimagined Lightning Lanes. Guests will have the option to make individual Lightning Lane selections using the Lightning Lane entrance or can opt for the Disney Genie+ service. With the Disney Genie+ service ($15 per ticket per day at Walt Disney World), guests will be able to choose the next available time to arrive at a variety of attractions and experiences using the Lightning Lane entrance. You can make one selection at a time, throughout the day. Check out our Disney Genie Frequently Asked Questions for more information!

Magic Kingdom FastPass+ Attractions and Entertainment Options - PinterestWith more rides than any other park, Magic Kingdom also offers many more FastPass+ options. While we love skipping the line, this makes choosing which rides to use FastPass+ on even more difficult. You'll find Magic Kingdom FastPass+ attraction priorities on our Magic Kingdom park plans and in our guide to FastPass+.

Unlike the other three parks, Magic Kingdom does not have FastPass+ tiers, so you can select any three attractions that you want! Keep in mind, however, that the most in-demand rides, such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan's Flight, will also be the most difficult to reserve.

As a reminder, Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests can book reservations up to 60 days in advance of check-in for their entire length of stay (up to 10 days) using My Disney Experience, while non-resort guests can book reservations up to 30 days in advance of each day of their theme park visit — starting at 7 a.m. Eastern Time. Magic Kingdom FastPass+ attractions and kiosk locations are subject to change at any time.

Hi Kathy!

Absolutely, but you'll need to wait until the day of and purchase in the My Disney Experience app for each day that you wish to use Genie+ service. For more info on Genie+, check out our guide and FAQs.

On January 13 2017, you told somebody that they could book their 4th fastpass after they scanned their first of 3 fastpasses. I understood that it was only after you scanned your 3rd fastpass, that you could request a 4th. Please clarify. Thank you.

Hi Tim,

After you have used your first three FastPasses (or their times have passed), you can book a 4th FastPass.

Hi Tina!

You can go on and ride at anytime, but only in the FastPass+ line if you have one booked.

Hoppy planning!

Has Magic Kingdom switched to the tier levels for what fast passes you have to choose thru first like the other parks? Is there a current list for all the parks for what rides are required to choose from first?

Hi Jana,

As of now, there is no tier structure for FastPass+ at Magic Kingdom. Our post about Walt Disney World FastPass+ Tips has a breakdown of all the tiered systems.

When I lived in Fl. I vised Disney 3 times. I could visit a hundred times more and never get tired of it. I am74 years old and those were some of my happiest times, making me feel like a kid. Thank you for those wonderful experiences.

How do you fast pass the wishes nighttime spectacular? If you fast pass it where are your seats ?

Hi Robin,

This should become a FastPass+ option a few days to a week within your dates. I would start checking My Disney Experience a week out. The FP+ viewing area is in the rose garden near Cinderella Castle.

A map w/the kiosks would be worth a thousand words & extremely helpful.

Fantastic site, one of the best of its kind, kudos.

Thank you. Great suggestion! I agree that a map of kiosks is the way to go. Hopefully, we'll have something to share soon.
