Get ready for a flight of adventure and storybook delight on Peter Pan's Flight® Attraction in Fantasyland® Area. First, take a tour through the Darlings' home while waiting for your flight with Peter Pan. Check out all the little details of the Darling children's bedroom. When it's your time to fly, you'll board a colorful pirate ship that sails you right through the bedroom of the Darling children, out the window and over the shining lights of nighttime London as Peter Pan shouts, "And off we go!" Vibrant colors light up the darkness and tell the charming story of the Boy Who Never Grew Up.
On Disney's Peter Pan's Flight® Attraction, you'll soar over the famous sights of Big Ben, London Bridge and more. You can even see the tiny headlights of automobiles twinkling far below. As music from Disney's classic 1953 film, "Peter Pan" plays, your magical flight continues to Never Land Island. Sights such as the Lost Boys camp, Mermaid Lagoon and Skull Rock will be seen as you hover over Never Land.
Your flying pirate's ship will bring you to witness Peter Pan fight Captain Hook to save Wendy and her brothers (Michael and John) from doom. Of course, Peter Pan saves the day and Wendy and the Lost Boys are safe to travel back home to London. Peter Pan's Flight® Attraction is charming and delightful for the whole family.
Peter Pan's Flight® Attraction is one of the most popular attractions in Magic Kingdom® Park and it has consistently long lines. It also doesn’t help that the ride is very slow loading. For the shortest wait time, go within the first hour after park opening, during a parade or in the last two hours before park closing. You could also use a FastPass+ to beat a long wait, which is what we recommend if you don't go first thing in the morning. Our 1-Day and 2-Day Touring Plans can help you figure out when to use a FastPass+ and visit Peter Pan's Flight® Attraction.
Don't fret if the lines are too long-- Disney redesigned the queue so that it’s completely inside and out of the sun. We can't put our fingers on exactly what it is about this ride that keeps us coming back, but we love it. It’s usually one of the first (if not the very first) attractions we hit as soon as we enter Magic Kingdom® Park.
Peter Pan's Flight® Attraction is an indoor track ride in Fantasyland® Area at Magic Kingdom® Park. The duration of the attraction is about 3 minutes. The ride vehicles can comfortably accommodate three guests and have lap bar restraints.

Peter Pan's Flight® Attraction is one of the original attractions at Magic Kingdom® Park, which opened on October 1, 1971. The queue for the classic Disney attraction was completely redesigned in January 2015, making it completely covered and inside the Darlings’ house. The queue features all things Peter Pan, including the Darlings’ nursery with the beds of John, Wendy and Michael. Notice that the calendar on the bedroom wall is circled on the date of December 27, 1904, which is the year James Barrie wrote the novel “Peter Pan.” The play opened at the Duke of York’s Theater in London on December 27! The Disney classic animated feature "Peter Pan" was released in 1953. Many films and stage plays have been adapted from the story.
