Enter this play area and you will automatically feel “miniaturized.” You’ll make your way through 30-foot tall blades of grass and jumbo plant-root mazes, slide down oversized film strips, encounter 40-foot tall bumblebees and get sprayed by 52-foot long leaking water hose.
Since guests can stay as long as they like, the traffic flow during the middle of the day can be slow. The play area holds 240 guests, but due to the popularity you still may be waiting a while to get in. It’s less crowded before 11 a.m., but we recommend waiting until after dark.
Tad and Lily love exploring and letting their imaginations run wild in this play area inspired by the movie. As frogs, everything feels gigantic to us, but this takes it to a whole new level. Mommy Frog sets a time limit for the kids so there aren't any arguments when it's time to move on. You may not even want to mention this one to your tadpoles until you have everything else crossed off your list.
Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure is an 11,000 square-foot play area located beyond the entrance to Studio Catering Co. in the Streets of America area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This attraction opens one hour later than the park and guests must be 4 years old to play. All the areas are padded and Disney Cast Members are on hand to keep everyone safe. How long you stay depends on how much fun you’re little ones are having, but you’re little ones can experience everything in about 20 minutes.
Guests may remain in their wheelchair, motorized scooter or ECV to experience the attraction.

This attraction opened on December 15, 1989. During summer months, this attraction has water elements that may cause Guests to get wet. The blades of grass on the playground are 30 feet tall. Watch out! The giant dog's nose doesn't just sniff - it snorts too!
The Disney live-action movie "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" was released in theaters on June 23, 1989, along with the Roger Rabbit short "Tummy Trouble." Disney's Magical Moments pins with game buttons are designed to interact with this attraction.
