On the garden pathways of Discovery Island® Trails, you'll catch views of various animals and wildlife. There are Galapagos tortoises, cotton-top tamarin monkeys, lemurs and more waiting to be discovered on the trails. Don't forget your camera either because you'll see a great view of the Tree of Life in Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. The tree boasts 300 beautiful animal carvings that celebrate all nature. The Discovery Island® Trails are a perfect way to unwind and take in the nature that surrounds you in Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.
The Frog Family usually saves Discovery Island® Trails for the afternoon when we need a break from the bustle of Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. It's also fun to go when it's the Galapagos Tortoise's feeding time! Ask a Cast Member when you can expect that because there are great photo opportunities there. Since there are several approaches onto Discovery Island® Trails, we usually go at random times throughout the day.
