Finding Nemo - The Musical is a live stage show based on the Disney-Pixar film Finding Nemo and features singers, dancers, acrobats, animated backdrops and puppets (many of which are big as cars requiring two people to operate). The musical score was written specifically for this attraction. Finding Nemo - The Musical follows the same plot as the movie: Marlin, the overprotective father clownfish, and his curious clownfish son, Nemo, learn to understand and love each other through a series of misunderstandings and close calls along with a little “help” from their friend, Dory.
Arrive at Theater in the Wild about 30 minutes before show time. The theater seats A LOT of people, so don’t give up if the line looks long. Since the entire experience of Finding Nemo - The Musical can take more than an hour (counting the time waiting to enter the theater, the time spent in the theater waiting for the show to start, then the actual show) save this one for the afternoon when the kids need a break and you need to cool off.
We love this show! It’s a sentimental favorite. If Lily is tired, she’s been known to sneak in a nap during the show while Leap and Tad do some father/son bonding and Mommy Frog quietly says “awwwww” to herself.
Finding Nemo - The Musical is housed in the Theater in the Wild in the Dinoland U.S.A.® Land area of Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. The show is 40 minutes long and is performed several times throughout the day. Check the Times Guide when you enter the park for that day’s show times. The theater has bench seating (no padding) with backs. Guests may remain in their wheelchair, motorized scooter or ECV to experience the attraction.

Tony-award winning musical composer, Robert Lopez, and his wife, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, penned new songs specifically for Finding Nemo - The Musical. Inspiration for the titles of these original songs came from lines said in the movie, including "Fish Are Friends, Not Food" and "Go with the Flow."
